From the moment we first walked in A.J (Iselin, NJ location) was fantastic to work with. He took a different approach than what Im used to and asked a few questions as to what we were looking for and all the specifics he needed to know in order to point us in the right direction. He was honest about EVERYTHING! Even down to the point if he felt the furniture wasnt durable enough and which ones we should focus on more (regardless of price). Im a very picky person when it comes into investing my money in certain things and he was super patient, extremely understanding and more helpful than I could have ever imagined. Most importantly, he was honest. Ive dealt with sales people a lot and I know how they can be just to get you to purchase something so they can benefit from it, but he was the total opposite. My boyfriend and I even left to discuss if this was our best option, checked elsewhere to see if there were any better deals and came back almost a week later and AJ was still helpful and made us feel confident in our purchase. Totally recommended and without a doubt with recommend AJ. BTW forgot to mention that back in May 2015 I purchased my couch from Value City Furniture in Green Brook and it is the most comfortable thing ever, everyone is obsessed with it and I have no issues.

When I went to the store, all of the employees were extremely nice and helpful. I was in and out in 20 minutes and I bought the exact bed I wanted. They told me it would take 5-8 days to be delivered to the store and then they would contact me to schedule a delivery date. 14 days later and I had still not gotten a call. I called on a wednesday to find out what was going on and they just made excuses and said I would be getting a call that weekend. Well Monday comes around and no phone call. I call back and they only give me more excuses saying it was a special order and would take up to 4 weeks. I got annoyed and asked to speak to the manager and he said he would have expedited shipping and should be getting a call soon. I would not have minded the 4 week span if I was told that in the first place. The fact that they told me I would get the bed within two weeks is the annoying part. I just moved into a new apartment and my mattress has been on the floor for almost three weeks. I could have gone somewhere else and I would have had it by now.

Well went in on a Friday and spoke to Edwin, spent over $3000.00 in a new living room and bed l, advised that 1 week (Saturday) I could get it. Next day sales rep calls me tells me couch is back ordered. Advised if I cant get it Saturday I dont want it. Advised he will get it. Friday comes along and called to advise only bed will be here. Called and advised they only have half of living room and he will put a rush on it and can get it to me following week. I wanted to cancel but wife liked couch so she called and advised to just deliver friday. He then advised her wont still be available. Had to call manager Bob who had to look into it and advised me he is getting it from another store and will finally be here friday. Wont hold my breath fyi. They want your business but lie to your face in the store and dont care after they get. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN !!!!! I WILL ALSO ADVISED ALL MY CUSTOMERS OF MY EXPERIENCE HERE !!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CHEAP SCAMMERS

I experience professionalism from my sales person. Mr. Theodore Jenerson listen to my needs and started to proceed me throughout the store. He informed me about the dinette set and bed. He gave me time to think about choices I had made. I will refer family and friends to this location bcuz Mr. Jenerson was concern for my needs in picking out what was best for me. I will be returning to this location of value city. From the door to the salesman to the lady in the back I think her name. Begins with a T she was very person she explained everything. I wanted to give her a shout out. If I had a complaint it would be with the delivery OMG they MUST do better i waited ALL day for the mattress. The driver said something happen at the house before me which set them out schedule. Taking out old furniture. Smh. The delivery for my bed was good they set the bed up and they were on their way. Thanks value city get the delivery men together. Ms. Mungin

I would give 0 stars if I could, for someone who bought all of there furniture for their house and to deal with the rudest customer service department ever. I will never walk foot again there. The "furniture doctors" used the excuse that no one was home and left a "note" on my door. When I called and checked both of my doors front and back, no note or nothing. When I explained to customer service that no one even dialed my phone. they claimed they had a "picture" of my apartment. When I explained that wasnt correct, their response was "oh too bad" not realizing people take off work and lose a days pay for people to not care. Will honestly rather keep my broken table and never put up with Shasti in customer service who hung up on me and trasnferred me to the main line because she didnt want to deal with my problem. With alot of my friends and family moving, I will never recommend anyone to go here, save your money and time.

My salesman was Patel. He was not pushy like many other sales people you find in furniture stores. We initially went to the store and took Patels card. We wanted to see other furniture in other stores before deciding. We saw two sets we like at another store. I decided to call Patel to see if he could beat the price. He was able to do so by almost $1000. Patel was very helpful in accommodating the furniture delivery. My only complaint is that one of the pieces had some damage which looked to be like it was from the factory. I will address this with them to see if i can get a replacement. The delivery team was helpful they even moved my King sized bed and heavy adjustable frames from my 1st floor to my second floor for my new bedroom set. This place has the best price. Shop and compare before you settle. They can even order furniture that is not in stock.

Bought my sectional in August (Ashley brand), still waiting for my issues to be resolved at the end of November since week 1. The staff at this store is very helpful and great people to deal with. No complaints about them. The customer service department is whats horrendous. Your issue gets assigned to someone, then they go on vacation for 2 weeks, and everyone tells you that they cant help you... the person who is assigned has to work this. Also, they DO NOT call you back and follow up. At this point my sectional needs to be replaced and Im waiting for that to happen since September. My sectional also went down 400 dollars since I purchased it and still havent had a fully functional sectional since I had it delivered. I dont even like it anymore.
