not the best selection, you might have to walk the length if you dont choose right entrance, and its huge. want a yoghurt and banana ? youll have to walk the whole store. protein bar and loaf of bread? walk the length. yes, its a problem with large grocery stores, but the selection isnt amazing, so its a toss-up if youre walking a maze without your product at the end. theyve got a great "natural foods" section, but good luck finding most of what even peapod carries for frozen section, cheese selection is ok, not even a mini kosher section, in this area thats bizarre... where some convenience stores have a small section.

When I first moved to the area I would go out of my way to avoid this store due to the lack of variety in products. On a number of occasions I was forced to go to a second store because they lacked an item I needed. The store is large so the problem is not due to size constraints; instead they will have multiple rows of the same item rather then increasing the selection of products. Prices are higher than other stores in the area and the layout is a little strange. On the plus side compared to other stores in the area they seem to have fresher produce.

Have you ever watched the walking dead or a similar zombie franchise? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to experience the zombie apocalypse? Look no further than the stop & shop in Whiting. Good luck navigating the aisles with the walking dead in your way. This place is George Romeros wet dream. Also, if youve ever wondered what its like to be hit by a car, take a walk through the parking lot. Its like a game of Frogger just to get to the front door.

Its a decent stop and shop. The deli counter can get a little crowded at times. Its a weird mix of people, its really the only game in town for groceries in the area so you see people from all walks of life.
