I shop this Stop & Shop location for my household needs literally every other day. Not only because this location is my local branch but because of the quality & prices. Ive NEVER had an issue with anything or anyone at this location until today (12/17/16) when Im checking out and experienced the worse customer from an associate named Marna (not sure if I spelled her name correctly. First of all, she could even say hello, she just asked me for my Stop & Shop card with an attitude. So I had her scan my card from my phone. Then when it was time for me to pay, I put my chip card in the machine and continued to put my items in my cart. I didnt know the machine had prompted me to enter my pin # so she had an attitude to get my attention for me to enter my pin #. So I told her I didnt notice it was time to put in my pin # and she didnt have to be so rude. She replied with an attitude, "well, this is what I do! ". At this point Im very upset with the customer service and as she handed me my receipt, I snatched it and she said, "Ill snatched that hat off your head the next time you snatch something out of my hand". I said OK, went to put my things in my car, then came back into the store to speak to a manager. I explained to him of what happened and he sincerely apologized. I really hope theres disciplinary actions against her and on Monday (12/19/16) I will be filing a complaint with corporate against her.

アメリカ旅行で滞在中、毎日利用してました。値段もお手軽だし、駅に近いのでここで買い物してニューヨーク観光に行くのにとても便利でした。特にベーカリーのパンが、種類もあって格安で割と美味しいのでお気に入りです。通常レジは、たいていクーポン券大量使用のおばちゃんに占拠されてるのでアレですが、セルフレジがあるので慣れれば精算も快適です。日本人からするとどの商品も量が多過ぎますが、それもアメリカ旅行の楽しみの一つになりました。

This is my second time buying meat at the stop and shop In Elizabeth NJ and it has been spoil. The first time was about 6months ago I bought two packs of chicken an di was getting ready to cook and I smelled a very bad odor so I sniffed the chicken and it was totally spoiled but it didnt look spoil at all it was still pink, Now I bought some lamb and opened the packages and both of them are also rotten but they look fresh. And both times the manager just said sorry and that he would give me gift card .I believe that they are coloring the meats so that they look fresh, please dont buy any meat from stop and shop they obviously dont believe in freshness. I have the meat in bag about to return it and it smells like death

Ive never ever been in a position before where I felt helpless until tonight. After being stuck on a train for 4 hours and a dead phone i had to get off the train. I started to feel sick from being on there for so long. I walked to the nearest open store (you) and as soon as a saw a police office I started to cry because I had no money and no idea where I was. Then the late night manager came up to me and requested me an uber. I literally cannot thank this man enough. Id like to pay him back but being overwhelmed I didnt catch his name. This was around 11:30 on a Monday night. I am so grateful that there is still good in this world. He definitely deserves more than just 5 stars on Google. Thank you again.

Store opens at 6am. I am at the deli at 6:45 am and the rep at deli told me, "You gonna have to wait cuz I aint open yet". Seriosly? Cant say who the person was because her name tag was clipped on her hat and the black marker was faded. But it was august 13. If your a manager reading this, advise your reps that when the store opens, so should the deli, especially if your at the deli counter doing everything except wanting to service customers. Rant over, thank you. She did tell me to have a good day tho.

I always shop at your store cause i find everything i need and prices are to my satisfaction i like the quality of the product and the customer service is very good the workers are helpful when you cant find what you are looking for the only thing i would change is sometimes you will find expired product on the shelf but other than that i will always shop at your store i have tried to get things at another store and the quality was super poor keep up the good job and you got my support always

Has really gotten better than it was before, but still needs a lot of work especially with the customer service aspect of the store. And it doesnt sell a lot of the items you would find in shoprite. Plus they have like 14 registers but only 4 is being used most of the time causing long lines and major headaches for the shoppers.

This supermarket used to be a dump years ago. Then GIANT bought the chain and made massive improvements to the store, employees, food quality, food options, and lowered the prices. I love this place. Minus one Star for the panhandlers that frequent the property annoying the shoppers, and the cashiers are not friendly.

From my experience shopping at Stop and Shop in Elizabeth management at Stop and Shop sets high standard for all departments in this store and i must say the store is really clean... They can do better with the bathroom other than that Very good store...

The employees are always inconvenienced by customers being there and they make sure you know it. Overpriced, beggars always in the parking lot and at front door and rude customer service make for a pretty bad experience

To the pharmacy I gave it 5 stars ALL of the pharmacist and a few of there assistance helpers are very professional and respectful AND also very polite. As for the grocery section I gave it 3*not so bad if I made add.

Lots of items arent fresh. Accidentally purchased bacon that was expired and produce is rotting within 24hrs of purchase. Its a shame this location is so close for me.
