Shopping for a wedding gown should be something you go to in person, physically try on dresses and see how they look and feel on your specific body type, NOT by a pretty picture online with an unbelievable price that is advertised from a sweat shop in China. I guess people have to learn the hard way in that if a deal is too good to be true, then it really is. This is what happened to my daughter. My daughter, who buys everything online, thought she would save lots of time and money by ordering her wedding gown online and boy was she ever wrong. The wedding gown she saw online was 1/3 the price of a retail shop and thought it was a great deal at the so called “wholesale” internet vendor she found online. She paid $300 up front plus shipping for a $1,500 wedding gown. Two months later when it arrived from China wrapped up in a plastic ball, it was nothing like what she had ordered. Opening the wrinkled mess that was supposed to be her once in a lifetime wedding dress, she was hysterically crying to the point of having a nervous breakdown. She tried to contact the internet company with endless emails back and forth, they said that she could not get a refund, even though it clearly said on their website 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Their bogus reviews even said that they have a 100% positive customer rating, which were also lies! The dress she ordered looked kind of similar to what was shown on the website, (that is if you’re drunk) and the quality was not even close to what was shown in the photo online. She ordered diamond white and the dress came in dark beige! The beading was glued on instead of stitched and the hem looked like a roller coaster track! Desperate to get another wedding gown in time, she went to Dolores Bridal in Edison, NJ and was lucky enough to order another wedding dress on a rush delivery to get it in time for her wedding. Maria, the owner understood my daughter’s dilemma and told her everything would be taken care for her “stress free” and she was right. Feeling more comfortable with her purchase we left Dolores Bridal reassured that everything would be taken care of the right way. I told my daughter, one thing is to deal by email or with an employee of a company but when you are dealing directly with the owner, you will definitively get the best customer service than anyone else has to offer. My daughters dress came in ahead of schedule and the alterations were done for free as well as very fast same day. When we went in to pick up her wedding dress she looked like my little princess. The moral of the story here is, BUYER BEWARE! If a deal is too good to be true, especially on the internet, then it really is. I hope other brides will save their money and learn from my daughter’s costly mistake, thank you.

Wow is all i have to really say. as a crazy fashionista that went to 12 bridal boutiques this was the one i chose. i found the dress i wanted which was rivoli by san patrick/ pronovias. i actually tried it on at another boutique but they wanted wayyyy to much and the alteration cost were well over my budget. i proceeded to call a few other places that carried my dress to find the best price. Dolores bridal had the best price, and the cost of regular alterations were included at no additional charge. however i wanted to add a sweet heart neckline to my dress which was a nominal fee. now, at first glance walking into this shop, it is really small compared to alot of places i went to, and very modest. at first i was worried that everything would not work out, it just seemed all too good to be true. but everything went smoothly. my dress came in on time, i did my fittings. they added a belt to my dress for me that i purchased elsewhere at o additional charge. the dress fit like a dream. on my wedding day i got a billion compliments and i made sure to tell everybody where i got the dress. they are very professional and know exactly what they are doing. so do not be fooled by the small modest looking boutique because they made my dream dress come true!!!!!!

I brought my Alred Angelo bridesmaid dress there to be altered. The owner is very nice, but apparently never wrote down when I needed it by (even though she made sure I marked it in my calendar!). I went there to pick up my dress and it wasnt finished. She told me it would be done in 15 minutes. I told her not to rush and I will be back later in the day to pick it up. I went back later and the hem of the dress was horrific....it was crooked! Also, the under lining wasnt done properly and was showing, AND there was a pull in the dress under the arm! The seamstress began blaming the dress and stated that if I dont move, the under lining wont show. I told her that since I wouldnt be standing still the entire wedding, this poses a problem. I finally showed her how to fix it, and demanded the hem be straighter. I went back 2 days later and the dress was better, but the owner didnt even offer me a discount for the mistakes/damaged dress! I would never recommend this place.

Found this store on accident and so thankful I did. Maria is the sweetest person, and shes so helpful and gives honest opinions. I got my bridesmaids dresses here, which were gorgeous. We paid less then what other stores were asking and the best part.. the alterations were included!! I also brought Maria my wedding gown, to be altered. Her alteration price was comparable if not less then other places! My dress turned out perfectly as well as the bridesmaid dresses. This store is a must! Dont let the small size of the store fool you... its packed with huge variety and fantastic customer service!

When I first went to Dolores Bridal the women there were very helpful, finding me gowns and helping me try them on. The prices were great. However, I ordered my dress 8 MONTHS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it is still not in. Everytime I call to find out about the dress they tell me the dress has shipped and will be here in a week. Theyve been telling me this since February, Its now April! Ive finally told them that Im coming in next week and I either want my dress or my money back.

I was referred to Dolores Bridal by another bride who had a great experience there and mine was no less than perfect. I was not rushed or pressured into buying anything. The alteration work was excellent and my wedding gown fit perfectly and looked dazzling. This bridal shop has a top line bridal and evening gowns at affordable prices. I would recommend them to any bride wanting to look her best on her wedding day,thank you.

This place is fabulous! The owner Maria is VERY helpful and you feel truly appreciated. Just very sweet, very accommodating and you feel like family! She also is very honest as they are true professionals and experts! She knew exactly what would look good on me! Got my mothers dress and all my bridesmaids dresses as well there. Go to this store you will not be disappointed at all!
