8/18/14: This bookstore is a little more than just a bookstore, in fact it is more like and entertainment store. In here there are hundreds of different books, magazines, anime and other printed items. There is a digital media section that featured animated movies and shows, as well as live action ones as well. In addition, there are a small array of office supplies. So overall it is pretty well-rounded. My experience here was great and I was greeted nicely and quite surprised with the amount of merchandise they had here. On my next visit I will have to spend a little more time browsing to see what is new.

Great bookstore,but,VERY overpriced.There is a very little book about learning japanese that doesnt even have a lot of information,the price was 16 dollars,in my opinion,that is OUTRAGEOUS!There is a store in the midtown section of Manhattan called BOOKOFF USA.They have the exact same things there,bot for less than half of the the price here at Kinokuniya.But,other than that,the store is a great place to visit,but not to buy.

ミツワマーケット内にある日系書店の紀伊國屋書店です。日本の本は勿論、雑誌や漫画も沢山揃っています。ただ、空輸されるので値段は割高です。この他にも日本の文房具やアニメグッズも揃っているのには驚きでした。

Very cute book store but it is out of control over priced. I went to the stationary section and two regular pens costed me $12. When it comes to the books if you write down the books you like you can find them online at other retailers for 75% off cheaper than this place. OVER PRICED

Theres a little stationary store in the back along with dvd rentals. Always stop by after eating at mitsuwa and actually get all my school supplies here lol

Being honest, it has a pretty decent collection of manga, and has basically all of the volumes that pertain to the series. (Couldnt find Tokyo ghoul tho...)
