Everytime I go to Acme, I am reminded how annoyed I am by their takeover from A&P. They ALWAYS have expired produce/products on the shelves, and are often out of products I use regularly. It is also expensive, has terrible sales prices, and I dont like that they no longer have self checkout. The only reason I still go there is because it is on my way home and literally no extra time to make the trip there for quick essentials. Whenever I can give money to other grocery stores, I do.

I only shop at Acme for quick, last minute purchases necessary to complete a dinner recipe. It is conveniently located near my home and is easy to swing through on my way home from work. Their prices are quite expensive compared to other local grocery stores and the lines are usually very long. They do not have a frequent shopper program and their coupon app is very time consuming to scroll through and navigate (no search feature).

This would be my main shopping store; but stopped coming here shortly after they first opened. Needed assistance in the meat department, waited 30 minutes for help, guy that finally came out from the back of the store smelled so bad, my eyes were tearing up. I literally had to step back from him. This man physically handles raw food. I left without the meat i needed for dinner and havent gone back.

Useless store. Super expensive and ridiculously small produce inventory. Do yourself a favor and drive 10 minutes to ShopRite in Rockaway - youll get better products at half the cost. Even A&P was better then this waste of space. ACMES space would be better occupied by Trader Joes, we know we can use one here instead of schlepping to Florham Park.

Store is A&P takeover...service is fair, usually act like you are there for them instead of providing customer service. Products, prices and selection are all good but I predict they will be gone in 2 years if they do not up their game.

Convenient,but you MUST be cognizant of what they call, "A Deal".!!! Since the buyout of A&P, the prices definitely have gone up.! But if your careful and diligent, you can find the deals. Dont forget they offer rain checks too....

Pretty much the same like A&P. Cheaper on some items...the only thing they did not do good is to remove self-checkout which is like a step back on technology. In this era, who wants to be standing in line if not needed.

Terrible. Never enough cashiers working. Worst part: They removed the self checkout when this became ACME, so now everyone has to wait in line for their slower-than-slow cashiers. More expensive than Shop Rite too.
