I went to buy a nook and went back to the tablet dept. There was only 1 employee there and she was helping someone else (for like 30min). FINALLY, an employee came up to me and he asked if I needed help. I said just looking because by this time I had called my hubby to go online and provide pros & cons about the nook and the Amazon Fire. After I got the pros & cons I went up to the man who had asked if I needed assistance. I told him I wasnt sure about the products and what the differences are. He looked at me and said, "Well there are tags under each product so you can see the price differences." How condescending I thought! I said, okay thanks and just started looking again. Then I overheard him with another customer who came and in asked where customer service was and he said, "Under the sign that says customer service". Again, very rude and condescending! Why did he even ask if I needed help? So he can make his little smart comments. I also overheard him telling the lady who was with the employee for 30 min that she is just wasting their time. WOW. Needless to say I left B&N and went right to Best buy and purchased an Amazon Fire (love it btw). Obviously he doesnt work on commission, or if he does he just lost a good customer.

I have frequented many Barnes and Noble stores and this is my favorite by far. The selection is great and I never have a problem finding what I need. Yes, there are one or two employees that need some proper customer service skills, but dont let that stop you from shopping there. If I ever need any help, I can turn to the staff. In fact, I recommend you find or ask for the girl with the purple hair. I wish I could remember her name. I know it starts with St. She is a great help and will go above and beyond to help with your shopping needs. Other than the one or two employees, the only other con I have is the shopping center itself, which is no fault of Barnes and Noble. Watch where you are walking in the plaza, as there are builds and parking spaces that block the view of both the vehicle and the pedestrian. The traffic pattern is rather crazy and there are at least 3 hidden roads, so you never know what is coming. With all the construct going, you never know when areas will be blocked off and what vehicles will be coming from where. Other than that, this Barnes and Noble is the best.

Barnes and Noble is my favorite store. I have been to many Barnes and Nobles from NY down to Florida.Today I had the absolute worst experience there. My mom and I brought a coupon to the check out woman (she had short gray hair and glasses). She scanned the coupon and immediately said, "You cant use this coupon. Its already used." This coupon was freshly printed, had never been used by us, and so we told her that it hadnt been used. "You cant use it, so I dont know what to tell you. I dont know who used it, but you cant." Besides the fact that her attitude and tone were awful, we still did not say anything to her about this. My mom asked her if maybe she could call someone and see why it isnt working (perhaps a manager), and her response was "Im not going to do anything. If you wanna call someone go ahead, but Im not." That was enough to really aggravate me. I told her, "Im definitely not buying this book from you, and its likely Im not returning to this store." What an awful experience. I didnt buy the book, and I wont be returning there.

Love the Towne Park at Garden State Park location. Gracie the Salesgirl was so wonderfully nice and helpful. In fact, the whole staff were tops. We got to speak Italian, German, English and Chinese with so many nice people. Will try to get there again. Great selection of books and notebooks. I am not an artist Gracie. lol. Please, please, please invest in more outlets in the cafe. I have loved coming here with my laptop to do work through the years. I always find myself having anxiety as to whether or not one of the coveted outlets will be available.

cafe is always busy and can be hard to find a table but store is well stocked this is the store I go to if looking for a non book item. The parking lot is nuts but that is not the stores choice.
