Just had the worst retail experience with Sears. This is more a complaint to the Sears Deliever Service, not the store itself. Purchased a washing machine mid July. Due date delivery about 5 business days. Perfect! Got a call two days later stating the delivery has been delayed until August 22nd! What?? Okay Im upset but, I really liked the washer I picked so I sucked it up.. Aug 21 rolls around I get a call (all automated by the way) saying the delivery was delayed one week to Aug 29.. Okay Im real frustrated and got in touch with a representative who apologized and said I am definitely scheduled for Aug 29. So today rolls around.. Well, guess what? Got a call this morning after I got a call last night confirming my delivery that it was going to be delayed!! My head is now spinning. I call and I get a lady who confirms the delay and says the washing machine never showed up to their distribution center. I tell them I want to cancel everything and she responds with "we figured you would say that, your order has been cancelled" and before I could even get one word out she hung up... The next person I called Im surprised is not deaf at how loud I was yelling into that phone. Never, ever, buy anything from this company. Im mad at myself for going there in the first place. This company is dying and I found out why first hand today.

cannot tell you how hurt i was yesterday! a lifetime customer of Sears, i had just opened a box containing a new t.v. that i had received from my grandkids for birthday/fathers day. as we were setting up we noticed the screen was shattered. No problem, we had the receipt. Drove up from Mass and explained my problem to the clerk. he inturn got the dept mgr. who told mebecause it was over 30 days since it was purchased i was out of luck! I fact it was 3 wks too late... even though i had just opened the box that morning. im sure the manufacturer will credit the store because its brand new. Store mgr. said the same thing. no credits /returns/refunds over 30 days. lifetime Sears card holder no more! will never set foot in any Sears again! Sad Grandpa & sad Grandkids , no t.v.for you,.

I came here for the first time to get an alignment. I just bought new tires across the st at Costco. It took a little longer than expected. But while they were working on my truck the salesman complimented my choice of tires. He went on for 5 minutes explaining the tread and how it was designed to outperform the other models. I bought the Michelins LTX M/S2. He was more informative and enthusiastic than the guy i bought them from. I found out that sears offers the same free services as Costco and they would match their prices. If i could do it again i would buy them here. The entrance is located on the back of the mall. You pull up to the garage door, it opens, and you pull in. I made the mistake of looking for parking first.

I had a general electronics question and attempted to contact someone in that department for approximately 2 hours with zero success. In those 2 hours I tried to contact anyone in any department and no one answered the phone nor did they have a voice-mail system set up. I called during normal business hours so I was surprised that not even customer service did not answer. I find it extremely inconvenient that not a single person picked up a phone in any department.

They need my ID and my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER (wtf) just so they can sign me up for some kind of discount or coupon or something to get 15% off my purchase. They persuade me to give them my social security number, so I was ready to give them, but I didnt have it with me (thanks go). My question is why would they need my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER and my ID just to give me 15% off my purchase?

We are from Out of town and needed our Prius serviced along with a tire. Joe the manager was very helpful on the phone and super polite when I got there with the car. The cost for everything was really reasonable. I will return when in this area for any car maintenance needed. Its a lot cheaper than dealership and quality service.

The only local shop that would handle a Michelin warranty for tires that came as original equipment on our minivan. Costco, Sullivan Tire and Town Fair would not perform the warranty work since "we did not buy the tires from them." Best price around including Tire Rack and no high pressure sales tactics.

Had a terrible experience with a large employee who was not professional and looked disgusting. Was horribly rude to me while I was shopping. Will never go back to sears because of this experience. Would love to talk to his boss about this if possible.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. l have been coming in to do free check up for my car, since there is no profit ($$$) they never helped me, which l was planning to do the alignment with them. But definitely l wont. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Every time I order something online for this sears, the list the item as "picked up" before I even get to the place. Now Im trying to dispute this with paypal because sears customer service is no help.

Awful customer service. Called every line to find out the Hudson warehouse hours, and nobody answered. Not one department answered, appliances, merchandise pickup, auto center, etc.

Good luck getting a refund if you have to pick up from the store, they dont have it (even though you get a pick up from store email) and mark it as picked up even if you havent.
