I went in with a little bit of lunch and bought a drink from the Starbucks cafe. I went to sit down and sifle through my course work because I had work in an hour and wanted to get some schoolwork organized. A woman who was working for the Starbucks cafe then proceeded to walk over to the tiny table while I was drinking and eating with paperwork next to that, enjoying the nice atmosphere, saying "you cannot eat outside brands here." And that management is really cracking down on people eating things from other places because it was "actually a restaurant." The fact that I didnt feel welcome to enjoy what I just bought from their CAFE where I had planned to do my work was frustrating. I had to pick up my things and leave to go to chipotles because they could care less if I were drinking Starbucks in their RESTAURANT. It wasnt so much the fact that I had to leave and be interupted in my busy schedule as it was that this lady was very rude and made it seem like I was just plain dumb. I think it was preposterous and they just lost a customer.

I purchased a foreign language book with audio yesterday. Before I gave the cashier my card, I asked her if I would be able to return the item if it wasnt what I needed. The cashier stated that she didnt believe it would be a problem. I went today to return it after I was able to look over the lesson plans, and knew it wasnt going to be helpful and suit my learning style. When I arrived, the cashier signed off on the return and called the shift manager over. She then told me that on certain occasions they will accept these back, IE: if they are purchased within a day of return. I told her that this was the case for me and my situation. She refused to refund my money after I explained that Id been told that I should be able to. I will be going to Borders from now on, and will not purchase anything from them again.

Great place to meet and work with others. Some of their sales result in good prices. Beware that they DO NOT MATCH THEIR OWN WEBSITE PRICES. Their mobile website buries the in store price, but if you go to the store dont be surprised to find a different price than what is online. Teachers ... dont forget to sign up for you teacher discount.

Great sales. Very comfortable. Nice helpful staff. Sometimes tough to get attention with Nooks when store is busy. They need a better way to let customer know how to get some help at that counter. One can stand there for 10 minutes. No Bell or sign directing one to queue at the information desk instead.

Friendly staff, traditional old fashioned warm and welcoming lounge to just hang out in and even people watch. I remember B&N from the time I was a young adult. Have never really disappointed me. Never diasappear, B&N, I dont care if internet is replacing you, just refuse to go because you are awesome.

Their service is as slow as a 80-years old lady. Their atitudes are rude and cold. They charged me more than the list price. I needed to talk to 3 three persons to get my money back. The cashier lady was acting like it was totally my fault. Will never come back again or recommended to any friends.

Excellent customer service! Very friendly atmosphere. A good place to have a cup of coffee and check out a few books, relax! One of my absolute favorite stores! The wifi is excellent as well. Also a wonderful place to network and meet others who have the same interests! All around 5 stars!

terrible. Waited for 45 mins jn the nook area, asked for help and then a new person came and the attendant started helping that person. Totally unprofessional. This costed them a customer who was ready to buy $350 worth of nook products tonight, not to mention all of my future purchases.

My daughter and I really enjoy visiting this store. It always has a great collection of books and toys. The toys are a lil pricey so we have to moderate. It has a great atmosphere and is an enjoyable shopping experience. I will def return to find more adventures with my daughter.

Great location. Excellent cafe with a good pastry selection. The only damning thing about this, or any other Barnes & Noble is the God awful, and too loud background music they play. Not enough comfortable seating for reading either. But, still, a great stop if you love books.

Horrendous experience. Pre-ordered a book for delivery. They mailed it 14 days after it was available in stores. Never doing business with them again. Customer service just quotes back policy without thinking about the practice. Rather do business with amazon.

I only shopped here because I had a gift card. Its too expensive. I bought a paperback of Lord of the Flies and it was $10. This particular location is nice: one floor, cafe, etc. Its just too pricey for me and they always try to get you to buy a membership.

Great place to browse for books, music and movies. Roomy, quiet, comfortable. Cafe. Can take your time browsing. Only problem is that they dont price match their own online store.

I always love it at Barnes and Nobles. Great staff, lots to choose from and a fabulous cafe. Many regulars there too, so its like a social gathering every time Im there.

We love Barnes and Noble! Every Saturday we come to story time and they provide a small project for the kids after. The cafe is also wonderful and cozy.

Good B&N store. Large. Cafe is usually crowded on weekends and evenings. Staff are friendly and helpful. Check prices vs Amazon before buying, though!
