Ive shopped at Mardels for years. Usually its a great experience. Last night was not. I went in to redeem my $5 coupon for a lamb. The coupon reads that you get a lamb "and" the blessings lamb was included. At the bottom it states a lamb "including" the blessing lamb. I was told that was not the case. My cashier at first tried to charge me over $20. I reminded her of the coupon so that made it over $10. I showed her that it stated both lambs and she told me that was for one lamb. I left the store. Discussed it with my sister who is a teacher and she agreed that it reads that you will get both for $5. I went back in. The same cashier was very condescending and said that she would get someone else who might be able to explain it to me. The young manager came up, I explained the situation and she told me that you can only get one lamb for $5. That the blessings lamb was including in the choice. I told her that the coupon was misleading and bordered on being deceitful. This is not what I expect from a Christian store. Maybe they could take greater care in the way that they word their ads & coupons. The word "OR" shouldve been used instead of "AND"!

I always have a pleasant shopping experience when I shop at Marvels. The employees are always smiling and willing to help. The store is well stocked and has appealing displays. I usually can find what I need on sale also. Thank you Marvels Staff.

I liked the variety of merchandise and the staff in the clothing section went out of their way to make sure we found what we needed. It was my first time there and I will be back. Thanks again to the friendly and helpful staff.

The staff was excellent, I went right to the bibles. They met me, they showed me the bibles I wanted, then they offered me 5 dollars each to have the bibles engraved. I was there 20 minutes tops.

I only go here for teacher and class items but as an atheist I usually dont buy anything. Most of the items they sell typically dont help students learn so Ill probably never go back.
