No,the employees at ABC books are NOT consistently friendly.Nor do they ever show much interest in buying desirable books to resell to customers when they have a chance.During the past 10 years they have repeatedly refused to purchase books in good condition,written by reputable authors,from me.In fact they have not once made a purchase from me,which raises questions about how many good books they could offer but dont because they didnt make the effort.Has anyone ever actually had ABC purchase a good quality used book from them? The store is dusty,dirty and in poor condition. Just dont be surprised if you find this to not be such a wonderful place,and heads up:That area is a hotbed for meth labs,thus there are also a lot of other kinds of crime in the area.Maybe youll get lucky and have a good experience there but if you dont its more likely them than you.

The ABC bookstore has a very intelligent, friendly staff. I have found all to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I have shopped this store for many years; as have many of my family, friends and former students. The newest owners have improved the quality of the books they purchase, the organization of the books, the appearance, and support many local authors. They are willing to acquire/order books for special interests, in good condition and reasonable prices. I will continue to buy all my reading materials at this locally owned store. FYI, I do not personally know or have any affiliation with ABC Bookstore.

I was excited to go in and look around on my day off. Over heard older woman with blonde hair at counter talking to a young gentleman employee about another woman employee about her weight. You could tell he was uncomfortable about it and in my opinion it was disrespectful. For what I got to look at an okay selection of books but I will never shop at a place where people are verbally putting other employees down in front of customers. Do that crap in your own home and dont include other employees in with your nonsense. Too many other small businesses to shop at. Good luck keeping the doors open.

I suggest you do not go here to sell back your college books! I paid $500 for my books and they only paid me 50 dollars, and then they will profit about 400 dollars from selling them. I understand wanting to make a profit but that is too much of a gap. I looked up the same books on Ebay and I would have gotten about 350 dollars for selling them on there. I cant comment on buying books from there because I didnt do this, but I will be selling back my school books online from now on.

I called them twice, two days in a row about books i had to sell them... they said theyll buy all of them and i live an hour away from the place... i go up there with the books and they said that they dont want any of the books... I dont have a job so i find anyway possible to get money and when they rejected my books it really hurt cause i had no money for gas to get back... these people are liars especially that manager TJ... i give 1 star, if only i could give 0 stars...

I love this book store. The people are friendly and they provide great service. Theyre always helpful and willing to give their time to help you find what you need. I love that they do custom orders for books they dont have, it just goes to show that they care about their customers. Their selection of books is fantastic as well. Theyre always getting new stuff in and getting it on the shelves quickly. This is the only bookstore I go to.

Your typical used book store. Seems to have a lot of Christian or ministry books, although they have others as well. Staff are helpful & polite. Ive purchased books there a few times and have always been pleased with the experience & price.

This is quite possibly one of the best used bookstores I have ever visited. The selection is broad and well organized. Found a great Henry David Thoreau folio, and used trade value to buy it. They were very fair.
