As Natures Pantry, this was such a great place with excellent sales and options. Now, currently operating as Natural Grocers... Theres a stuffy/stale air to the environment; its clear that corporate mentality has won over this business, unfortunately. While some staffers remain from the beloved NP days, they do not appear as happy with their surroundings and new staffers are just all around unfriendly. I used to shop very regularly at this place, Im talking three sometimes four days a week I would be there shopping and spending money to support this business, and now, they are lucky to see me twice a month. I have been treated poorly consistently by all new staff members (including management) who were not a part of the Natures Pantry team, and, admittedly, that has resulted in a serious decline for my visits there. Options are generally aplenty, because healthy eating and healthy options are a major market commodity right now.. Natural Grocers hasnt hesitated to pick up a lot of these brands, so theres lots of choices. Sales can be hit or miss, so you just really never know unless you visit the site before visiting. They do have a tendency to have sales on expired or close to expiring food, but it is generally still way too high to pay for old food. The best deal they have going is the $2 produce bags, as there are plenty times that you can rack up something great, say 6 cucumbers for $2. Not a bad deal!

I have frequented Whole Foods and other health stores for years and can honestly say that I was blown away by Natures Pantry in both their selection of health foods and the quality of their produce. As a health practitioner it is important for my patients to find healthy places to shop and having this in the Lees Summit/Independence area is truly a blessing!

My first visit to the store was a good one. I was not in for food though. Looking for vitamins and toothpaste. I have a hard time finding the toothpaste we like and they carried it and many other options. The store was clean and the workers were very helpful. While there were not tons of options, I saw many amazing and interesting products.

Very nice local health food store. They have a great selection of local items. You wont find more anywhere else. From kombucha made in Kansas and fantastic tofu and tempeh to soaps and more. The local kombucha is even on tap, so bring your growler. Plenty bulk items too.

The first real natural grocer in eastern Jackson county (Natures Pantry) from years ago. Super helpful staff, especially with supplements. Good variety but wish they had used recent remodel for more food selection & not event space. Carries many local brands.

I love these guys. The selection is great and I always get personalized service. If I have health questions I talk to Peter or David and they both have a wealth of information. Neither one try to sell me and I really like that. I highly recommend this place.

Organic foods. A nutritional met with me to go over all medical information so she could tell me what supplements were right for me. All employees are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They have cupons, a saving program and much more. Very clean.

I Love the staff, they are always so kind and helpful. The selection here is great, my husband and I are always up here for our organic needs. Though we do miss Natures Pantry we have learned to adjust, seeing as they kept the awesome staff!!
