I went through Stems for the flowers for my recent wedding. At first they were great. Jenny got my ideas perfectly! I had a total of 10 tables at my wedding and was going to do half of them with floral arrangements, and told her I would be doing the centerpieces for the other 5 tables, and that didnt seem like an issue at the time. I was very excited to have Stems do the flowers, especially since all of the great reviews. However, after our first two meetings me and my husband were looking through the paperwork and noticed that we were going to be charged for 10 floral centerpieces. We contacted Stems right away, and when my husband told them what happened, it seemed like they were going to take care of it no problem. I received an e-mail the next day from the manager, Joe. He explained my husband had called saying that we were changing the number of centerpieces, and that we would only be getting 90% of the money refunded to us if WE decided to change it. The thing is, it was never our mistake. The mistake was on their end and they failed to recognize that. I e-mailed him back saying that this was our plan from the beginning, and that Jenny knew that. She had even seen pictures of the other 5 centerpieces I was going to create. Joe e-mailed me back saying "Thank you for making that clear" and went on to tell me our adjusted balance with the cancellation of 5 centerpieces. I dont think he understood we never did order those 5 centerpieces. It is very upsetting that a business like this that you have been working with for months fails to recognize a mistake and places the blame on you. Also, the day of the wedding, Im not sure who it was that delivered our flowers, but she was extremely rude. My husband and the groomsmen said they were shocked at how rude she was to them. Not only this, but when she was telling me how to hold my flowers, she looked at my hair and said "You need to brush your hair!" This was a half our before I was going to be walking down the aisle. She then looked at my bridesmaids and said "Girls, you need to help her fix her hair". Not exactly what I want to be hearing a half hour before I say "I do!" Overall, Stems did good work on the flowers, I just wish things had gone a little differently.

My brother sent Mothers Day flowers to our mother via Stems and I can say, hands down, that hers was within the top 5 bouquets Ive ever seen in St Louis. The flowers she received easily rivaled what I think of as top-notch Manhattan or LA flowers. Frankly, it was easily one of the most beautiful bouquets Ive ever seen in a private residence - as opposed to those crazy gorgeous lobby bouquets one comes across. I dont know how old Stems Florist is, but I do know that theyve only been in their current location a couple of years. I pass the storefront regularly on the way to my mothers house and their eye-catching window displays often leave me thinking, "Hmmm, I should really check them out." It goes without saying that, henceforth, any future bouquet needs I have (Ive currently got a birth to celebrate), that Stems Florist will be getting my business directly (no 1800flowers, ftd, etc as the middleman).

This place is FANTASTIC!!! Very creative people and they do amazing work! I had my wedding flowers from them and everyone said how beautiful it was! The ceremony and reception were both held in a upscale hotel downtown and they did such a great job taking the ceremony into the reception with flawless effort. We had a rather large floral budget and were so happy to use them to make all of our dreams come true. I wanted trees made out of flowers and they did it! I a unique altar and they did that too! Recently my Grandma died and I could think of no other to use than Stems, so glad that I called! Not only did they do a great job for my wedding the celebration that they created for Ma Ma was breathtaking. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You will forever be the florist for us. Deciding to purchase an arrangement (Stargazer/Red Rose mix for V-Day) from Stems turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Seven Days after and the flowers are still going strong with about half the Stargazer buds yet to open. A better expression of my feelings I could not have asked for... Kim was wonderful to work with, she was attentive and matched what I wanted and went above & beyond. She even advised of potential obstacles to overcome for where the flowers were to be delivered and everything came off without a hitch which was awesome as I am not local to the area. Further, I have had repeated glowing comments from my Love which in turn has had me as happy as can be. Definitely two thumbs up! I will be doing business with Stems again in the future.

Stems Florist was incredible! During the planning process I worked mostly worked with Kim who was wonderful to talk to and helped me plan the perfect day, along with everyone else at Stems help. My flowers for my Matron and Maid of Honor, bridesmaids, and my bouquets were all gorgeous! My Husband and his groomsmens boutonnieres were wonderful. My flower girls had the most enchanting flower scepters. The flowers used for our venue arrangements and my centerpieces were perfect and absolutely breathtaking to look at. They made my wedding ceremony and reception look simply magical. I could not have imagined it better. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to make their wedding or special event into something that look like it came from a fairy tale.

Being originally from Florissant, I knew I wanted to use Stems for my wedding even though I had moved away. I did a lot of my correspondence with Stems via email since I work in Alaska now, but they were always prompt and courteous in their service and it wasnt an issue doing business via emails. I did have one meeting with Jenny to plan everything out. She was very good and listened to what I wanted and made it happen. Pricing was very reasonable. The flowers stayed fresh for DAYS after my wedding, and I received lots of compliments on my wedding flowers. I highly recommend using Stems for your next event!

Beautiful flowers, beautiful work, remarkable intuition into the needs of the bride, the groom and the bridal family. The professional husband and wife team, Jenny and Joe, are amazingly creative and versatile and totally tuned in to what it takes to make a beautiful bridal floral presentation from the individual bridal party members to the church and on to the reception. Our daughter was married November 22, 2014, and people still tell us how beautiful the flowers were. I would highly recommend Stems, they know what they are doing and you will not be disappointed.

On Monday August 19th 2013 I placed a flowers order for delivery Tuesday Aug 20th Stems.LLC charged my Credit Card for $60.00 But never Delivered the Vase of Flowers I ordered Upon a follow up complaint, When I Called Joe, He would do nothing to correct there Mistake ( only to say the computer did not print out the Order ) Last I checked I talked to a Live person not a computer If a Florists cant Fill an Order correctly, & Stand Behind his Reputation DO NOT US THIS FLORISTS My Experience was Missing a Birthday not good
