i bought a chair and couch set.went to pick up next day and they had sold the chair to someone else so i just wanted my money back .i talked to the manager about it she proceeds to make excuses that it was there for 4 days which it wasnt then tried to say that a couch set is usually a couch and love seat.which a set means anything consisting of more than one.they wouldnt give my money back instead gave me a in store credit good for 60 days.60 days are up and i havent found anything in the store that i need.it is pretty lame on her part the way i was treated.i wouldnt recommend that store in particular to anyone.

Received incredibly condescending and abrasive service on 3/04/17 from two female employees at the St. Cloud Salvation Army Thrift Store. I have never been spoken to like that before, as a paying customer. Their loud, unprofessional manner was very offensive and off-putting. As much as we have supported the Salvation Armys work in the past, unfortunately we no longer feel comfortable returning to this location and this extremely negative experience has impacted our future support of a great organization. Perhaps some training on customer service etiquette would be beneficial for these employees.

Salvation Army has really great deals throughout the week. Now, Ive never found any clothes at SA that I wanted to purchase, but weve found plenty of furniture to restore (often at 50% off!) and unique items that you couldnt find anywhere else other than an estate sale or antique shop. The prices are generally way more reasonable than Goodwill, and the deals are more consistent and feel more like actual deals. Goodwill has grown to be overpriced and the deals are just not that great. Theyre too hard to find, too.

The Salvation Armys new location (former Hoye Appliances) has a tremendous selection of gently used merchandise, and a lot of clothing to choose from. I like how the store is laid out. Its very easy to find what youre looking for. They have an impressive amount at affordable prices. Check them out.

Unfriendly staff, prices reflect store prices but most of all, they sell return items and damaged items from local stores and sell them at store prices. You cannot return or exchange these deffective items because of their store policy. Your basically throwing away money on broken junk.

Just purchased a new dining room table from here. I had a car so I needed the top removed, and the worker there provided me with a screwdriver to take it apart. Also were willing to barter on the price!

Not exactly an awesome selection, but not small by any means and the prices are fair. I bought my TV stand from there (brand new) and seen the EXACT one in a big box store for exactly twice as much!

They are trying to sell brand new items at new prices. Its a thrift store and not an outlet mall. Prices should be affordable to those who cant buy new yet still need the items

Ridonculous prices. Went in earlier today 08/21/17 to kill some time, they have a whole bunch of junk. For example they had a beat up couch for nearly a thousand dollars.
