I only just found out about this little shop! I was super excited to find out that not only could I purchase my quilting supplies (within walking distance) but get Fabulous batista style coffee and small snacks. The prices are slightly higher than say Walmart or Joanns, however if you consider either of those places are 40 miles minimum either direction, and you take into account the sweet-hearted staff.. in my opinion, A quick stop into The Quilting Grounds, will definitely bring you out ahead.

I love this place. The coffee is delicious, and the specialty drinks are just plain yummy. The fabric selection is so unique. My thought is: If Im going to put all the time and effort into a fabric project, I want the best - not the cheapest - fabric. Plus, The Quilting Grounds also carries notions, so I dont have to hunt around for what I need to complete my project.

Delicious beverages made by an incredibly nice woman in a really cool, old building! We were there during the late morning... there were other patrons there working on quilts & getting fabric, but it was still very quiet. I very much enjoyed being able to drink my beverage and the conversations!

Ive been in several times already. I really appreciate having a store so close to me and the help has been wonderful. There are things to see and people often in the back working on stuff and thats such an inspiration. The selection is pretty good and I look forward to more as it grows.

The quilting side of this shop officially opens on February 22nd, 2016, but I was lucky enough to get a tour. Love, love love the fabrics they carry, and the owner is so friendly and helpful! Cant wait until the coffee shop side of the store opens in a few months!!
