Ive had my car for about a year now and it being my first car, when my breaks started grinding really bad and loud it made me quite nervous and was even more nervous to take it somewhere to fix it because I didnt want anyone pushing me into getting a million different things done to it that cost a bunch of money I didnt have and werent necessary at this time. But when I called Mankato Crank & Chrome and actually got there, I was pleasantly surprised that no one pressured me into anything. They checked over the car and showed pictures of what is exactly wrong and offered to show me in person if Id want (but honestly I know nothing about cars so I was happy with pictures lol!) and even showed me the different options I had. They let me wait in there amazingly comfortable waiting room they have, that honestly looks like an extremely cozy living room. Also, everyone there was so nice and easy to talk to, and wanted me to get the best deal possible! They were even so nice to leave a cute little note and candy in my car for me when it was done and ready to take home. I was very very impressed by this all! Thankyou for making my first experience with fixing my car a great one! I will definitely be coming back in the future!

I have been working with Jason and Kimberly for a few years now. I am an Automotive Engineer who drives a performance car that is very touchy. I design vehicles, and love to tinker; However when it comes to my daily driver, I prefer to trust a model expert who works on many similar vehicles to mine all the time. They are always up front with me about urgent as well as pending repairs. They give me a heads up about things that are getting close to needing work, so I can plan them into my budget and avoid surprises. Kimberly is very helpful with my picky part selection. She is always willing to do a little more research to see if there is a "Higher performance" version of a part available. The Prices are very responsible. I believe that good work isnt cheep, and cheep work isnt good. Jason and Kimberly find a way to do great work at a comfortable price! Best of all, I feel like I am working with family every time I walk in the door. They keep it professional; yet friendly and inviting. I never feel pressured and the ride to and from work when my car is in the shop is an awesome Bonus!!!

Hannah and Matt were friendly, and easy to talk to about my vehicle. I received a text with a complete multi-point inspection report before I was even called up to pay. This was awesome to get - complete with photos of the readings their equipment took of my vehicle, comments from the technician, and the status of various parts/systems on my car. That kind of transparency and having a record of this report digitally is super helpful for a consumer to have. Great work, and customer experience was top notch. Will recommend!

Matt and the rest of MCC have had my back for years now. Theyve worked on multiple vehicles Ive owned and have always done the right thing. I get a plain English explanation about what my options are, and how their reccomended actions are the best actions. I trust them. I show up after not being in for a year and they remember who I am and what they did for me last time. That should speak to how good this shop is.

Honest and kind! They found the most economical way to get my car rolling again and explained everything thoroughly. They even showed me the parts that they replaced so that I could physically see where the problem was. Not only am I super happy with the repair itself, but they made sure I had rides when I needed them while my car was being repaired and picked me up when it was done! My shop of choice for sure.

My AC was not working on my 06 Honda Civic. I brought it to them and I was given a quote before I left. I had them order the parts and a couple days later brought it in for the fix.
