I would agree with the reviews below mine. I have purchased pneumatic cylinders and valves, power sources, electrical switches, bike lights, croquet parts, switchblade combs, etc. This place has tons of random stuff. If you like to tinker with electronics or small mechanical things, this is a great place. Some stuff is used (pulled of decommissioned machines), but everything I have ever purchased has worked just fine. The prices are good.

My heart lives in the Saint Paul store, but this one, this one has a feel all its own. Its well lit, and seemingly more organized. Its a bit smaller, but, you can still find things you need or are helpful to have. Staff is super helpful and give great pro tips on making art, life hacks and good music to check out. Nice!

This is the strangest place that I can think of, especially for MN. Its basically full of junk and strange partial mannikins. A lot of teachers like this place for buying odds and ends for projects or math manipulatives. I personally think that a lot of the junk there is overpriced.

I went into the store to look for something specific. The cashier knew exactly what I needed and physically took me to the area where it was located. I ended up spending an additional 20 minutes just looking at all the awesome crap they had. A tinkerers dream.

The only problem with the Ax Man Store is I always find something I never knew I needed, and I buy it because I need it. I cant get out of the store without buying something. Its amazing how may things Ax Man has that you need, but never knew you needed.

Eclectic collection of surplus that changes over time. Sometimes funny or ribald notes on bins of sale items. My daughter won awards at Hopkins Junior High with parts from Ax Man, like a mouse trap powered car that beat all past records.

I have no idea what to write about this store. It was fun, strange, useless and very entertaining! If you dont know what to do for 45 minutes, just take a walk around this store, youll be amused!
