RUDE. Unless you want to be experience the worst customer service of your life, Id suggest you go elsewhere. ANYWHERE else. Even if its an hour away. The redhead couldnt even get up to show me where the body jewelry I wanted was. She gave me directions to find what I was looking for. Too busy on her phone. I literally walked from the jewelry straight to her at the computer when she got it out of the case. I realized what she was holding didnt look like the right size. I went to look at my piercing to make sure and the girl said oh no you cant do that. I assumed she thought I meant try it on. I said oh no Im not Im just comparing sizes. The blonde comes over and starts yelling at me that Ive contaminated everything now because theres a sign on the counter that I WASNT STANDING BY. I said I understand I didnt even see the sign and she kept going at it yelling at me.. "YOU COULD HAVE STAFF AND INFECT EVERYTHING HERE." Well 1. Professionals dont yell at customers. I dont care who the hell you think you are. 2. If you were a professional and had professional employees you would have said no wait dont touch that, explained your rules which I havent seen in any other shop in (PA, NY, DE, or MN I have 8 piercings) offered to look for me and confirm the receptionist had gotten the right size then given me hand sanitizer. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN HERE EVER AND I WILL MAKE SURE NO ONE I KNOW EVER SHOPS HERE FOR ANYTHING. To the manager: SEND THE BLONDE RUDE WOMAN TO CHARM SCHOOL OR BETTER YET, GIVE HER A LESSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. AND PUT A SIGN ON THE FRONT DOOR THAT SAYS "DONT TOUCH YOUR PIERCINGS." I could have gone to the bathroom and not washed my hands and you wouldnt have even know it anyways. E Coli for everyone!

1.0 star rating 10/20/2016 jennie botched my simple ear Piercing! was getting a second lobe piercing above my first and aside from way more pain than Ive ever had from a piercing, it looked fine in the front. but when I got home and looked closer I saw she crossed over my previous piercing and it came out the back UNDERNEATH my first one! the paths crossed so close that a different piercer suggested I take it out or risk the space between them ripping into one. I went back to the store and the receptionist told me that she heard Jenna on the phone say "I only messed up one piercing today"!!!!! she was also seen smoking weed in the parking lot. Im not against weed but thats totally unprofessional. the person in charge was very rude (I interrupted him eating a sandwich) and barely glanced at my ear before telling me looked fine and said they couldnt help me. any real professional would know that what she did was wrong. Ive had all my piercings done at captive for the last 8 years and I will NEVER BE BACK. they dont care about their loyal customers. I might as well do my own piercings from now considering Id probably have better results. I posted this review on their Facebook, and instead of receiving any sort of apology or attempt to correct the situation, they turned off reviews completely! Im not saying you will have your piercing botched like mine, but one thing is for sure that if you have any issue they will be unwilling to work with you!

I had Ms. Ashley at Captive Elements do our first tattoos. She was very professional and kind. She went out of her way to find great reference pictures and both our tattoos look fantastic. (We have received many compliments) Most impressivly of all Ms. Ashley acted very patient with me while I was getting my tattoo done as I had to ask her to stop a few times due to some nausea. My tattoo ended up taking an extra half hour yet she still offered me a very fair price. She was a very wonderful person to work with and I hope to see her again for my next tattoo. My fiance also ended up getted two lip piercings done by the wonderful Mr. Skot. He was very professional, informative, and extremely friendly to us even before we mentioned anything about possibly getting piercings. Recently my fiance forgot to check his piercings before going to work and they ended up unscrewing and falling out. We went back to Captive Elements ASAP and the fantastic Mr. Skot went above and beyond to save my fiances piercings. (He only charged us for the missing jewelry despite spending a decent amount of time on us.) I called Mr. Skot today to ask some questions about my fiances saved piercings and he sounded genuinly interested in making sure they healed properly. Even offering to take another look at them if need. (Again free of charge) Best place in MN to get tattoos and piercings. Wouldnt even think of going anywhere else.

Very unprofessional establishment, but they do have a wonderful piercer. I came here to get my anti eyebrow and when I walked in I could tell immediately it was a very chaotic place. There were people in every corner of the store just hanging out, including the workers. Not to mention a mob of four people hanging out at the receptionists desk not even 2 feet away from where I was trying to tell the receptionist all my info.(there is a designated area with two couches that are meant for waiting and for talking) After signing my paperwork, I sat down on the couch and waited for the piercer to be ready. There were two of the workers shouting a story to each other from across the room, with multiple cuss words escaping from their mouths. When I was finished with my piecing and was paying, the group of four was still standing there chatting away. One of them appeared to work there. I felt as though there was no organization, and it was very rude that the worker didnt move his conversation over to a different area so that other clients could have their privacy. Fortunately, the piercer was very kind and seemed like she genuinely cared, so I will most likely be returning to this shop. She is the only reason that shop still exists in my opinion.

From the moment I walked into the shop bad vibes from the front desk clerk big heavy set girl seemed to busy with her phone than work. Seen the site for piercings say call ahead make sure gal is there but you get there and she has a magical schedule that seems she can be to busy to take walk ins even though that is all she supposedly takes. Past than wanted to get a quote on my tattoo that I wanted done the guy seemed disgusted I wanted a price no idea who he even was didnt even introduce himself way unprofessional. And though I seen only one other person in the back said it would take a while to get a price.... Why advertise walk ins for stuff and come in for pricing on there website if they wont offer it what a joke rude employees you can know will just dig into you as they tattoo you and the front desk clerk should be asking if you want fries with that shake not be a front desk of anywhere..... rude rude rude people.....
