I went here for the first time tonight since they were the only autozone open until 10 pm in my area, and as soon as I walked in, I greeted the lady at the register "Hi! How are you?" and she didnt even take a second to greet me back. Instead, she asked "Are you paying cash?". I could see that this lady didnt care too much about the customers and she just wanted to close the store already even though I came in at 9:05 pm. I told her that actually Im not buying anything and she made a face like she was so let down. I politely told her that I have an engine light on and I was hoping if they could take a look at it. She made another confused face and she was at a loss of words for a few seconds and just stared at me with the most serious and uncaring look ever almost as if she wanted to say "really?". Instead she came up with an excuse that they dont let one person go out when there are only two people in the store at that time of the night. I can understand that if that were the companys policy but something was telling me that this lady just wanted to find an excuse not to work. I understand that I was not technically a customer since I wasnt buying anything but getting a free diagnosis of the dashboard errors is a service that the company provides and whether she liked the fact that I was not buying anything or not, she should have still provided the service. Please correct me if it is company policy not to let one of the employees go out when there are only two people in the store. I needed help and this employee was not interested in helping a customer. To me, thats a reflection on the whole staff. Ive had good experiences at the location in Livonia and I would not recommend anybody to go to this location.

The Manager to the employees will try , and rip you off anyway they can!! Took my mother to get a battery. The manager had the battery on hold. When we took the old one in (core) rather then pull the one on hold he pulled a different one off the shelf at a way higher price point. The manager using a scare tactic to get her to buy the higher priced one. He sold her the battery based on that, and then informed her company wide they dont even have the item???? I then told the Store Manager to sell her the item they placed on hold! He then claimed it would last 3 months/ then 6 months. Dont get ripped off go to any other place but this location. When he was asked (3) times to get his district Manager on the phone each time we was pointed to a sign attached to the window. Im not sure how they train the management at AutoZone. Judging by his actions it looks like they skipped the CUSTOMER SERVICE section. THE ONE STAR I HAD TO PICK IS A NEGATIVE ONE.

Unfortunately I just left that autozone I bought a car battery at 5:43pm today and they did not install it. I asked why and the guy that helped told me said its new rule is that once it gets dark out they will install the batterys. Now Im a young woman I just spent.over a hundred dollars for the item they could least try to help me. So I end up calling the store in Livonia on 8 mile if they could help me because I dont know what Im doing and my car keeps not starting and Im afraid if wait till later on the next day it wont start. They were happy to help and told me theres no rule of them not coming out and installing it. Unfortunately the young guy was just lazy. I would say go there if you a guy and can know what to pick out and install but if your a single lady dont got to the Livonia store.

My starter dies at 6 pm on Sunday night when Im doing laundry down the road from AutoZone, so I go pick up a new starter and did not have the entirety of the core for the part I was buying. The workers did not take my information, did not give me the lifetime warranty on the part, and because it was 30 degrees and I was wrenching in the cold night I threw my receipt away immediately because I was worried about more important things. And even though I show the charge in my bank account for the starter and it was THEIR incompetent employees that didnt take my information, AutoZone will NOT give me my core charge back and will NOT honor the lifetime warranty on the part. IF YOU GO TO THIS AUTOZONE MAKE SURE YOU COVER YOUR BASES, THE INCOMPETENT WORKERS WILL NOT DO THEIR JOB FOR YOU.

I have worked on cars since I was a kid and now go to this AutoZone in particular because of the staff. Well, Anthony in particular. His knowledge and helpfulness is amazing. He has saved me a ton of time and frustration by (every time) pointing me to the right solution, saving me from having to needlessly spend a bunch of money on taking my car to a shop to get it diagnosed. That is the way auto parts stores used to be and its great to see that level of knowledge and expertise again. I go there looking for him every time now. Outstanding! Thank you!

Friendly service and staff went to the autozone literally one building over from this one and thought they changed the hours to not being open after 7 then while pulling out of closed autozone I noticed I was at the wrong one next door why they have 2 places one business apart and closing 2 hours after the other dont know but it almost caused me to miss there hours so dont make my mistake like a dummy haha

Dont depend on this AutoZone. Worst place to get autoparts. Nobody is ready to take responsibility. I went there and ordered for resonator. They asked me to come and get next day. At the same time, my Mechanic has started repair my car. Next day, I went there and staff told me we forgot to place your order. I dont have any clue for you. Now staff person doesnt know that he/she is representing AutoZone.

My brake light blew out and I went to Auto Zone to buy another bulb. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Antony was especially nice and professional, he changed my bulb for me free of charge. He made my day. I will definitely go back there.

Went into the Westland location for a light bulb for my break light and not only was Anthony very polite and helpfully but he also replaced the light bulb for me as well. Wonderful customer service, fast and friendly!
