Dont listen to all the BS talking on here.... Ive gone to Bluz for years and havent had a single problem. Ive had all my piercings done there (including nipples, naval and lip and had NO issues) and the price for piercings is better than anyone else in the area! As far as tattooing price is concerned, you get what you pay for! When something is permanent wouldnt you want it done by a real professional? I have numerous of friends with a lot of work done and trust me Ive seen some real hack jobs. I dont consider Bluz overpriced in the slightest and Ive had some very extensive work done (notice attached photo of floral sleeve to their profile-- over 13hrs of work) I have a large stomach piece, and a large side piece also, all done by Dano Collins at Bluz, and he gives great deals if you book in longer sessions. I have referred numerous people there for both cover up work and extensive tattooing, and havent been disappointed once. If you want a tattoo ARTIST and not someone whos going to slap some BS on you for a cheaper price..... then go to Bluz!

I first went to Dano back in 1998 for my first ever tattoo. What has had a lasting impression on me is the honest way he did business. He took a small deposit and then designed my pride and joy, the Aztec Calendar, from a T-Shirt and called me in a few days later to get it done. Here is where Dano really made an impression on me as a man and as a business man. He stenciled the Calendar on my arm and said "Sit here and look at it man. Ten minutes. Make sure this is what you want because once I start tattooing I CANT ERASE IT! If you decide its not what you want its okay man well call it even where we are. I just want to make sure YOU want this. Okay?" I sat there and the ten minutes seemed like an hour because I wanted the tattoo really bad but the way Dano went about it spoke volumes about his integrity and character. I went on to have three more tattoos done by him and plan on another soon. Thank you Dano! You da man!

Got my septum pierced here in October and it was pierced in the wrong place (I think she hit cartilage), had to take it out 2 days later. She pierced it way too high and put a ring in that was so small it was pinching my nose. Extremely painful when it should NOT have been. My nose became so swollen and sore, after I took out the septum ring (which hurt like a SOB because of the externally threaded cheap jewelry) the swelling went down immediately. Ive never gone through so much pain for a piercing in my life! I will never go back to Bluz for anything! Its a dirty shop with improperly trained staff, I should have known better. The piercing might be cheap, but you get what you pay for. It will end up costing you twice as much in the end! I went to a different shop with a PROPERLY TRAINED PIERCER at the end of November to have my septum re-pierced. It was virtually painless and I had absolutely NO swelling!

I researched darn near every tattoo shop in that state for Japanese style work and found Bluz to be the best (no joke I spent at least 6 months looking for a place to go). I live in Midland and drove over an hour to get my tattoo done when I have 3 shops less than 5 minutes from my house. I had Dan do a half sleeve black and grey koi on my left arm and it turned out so much better than I could have ever hoped for!! All the equipment was sterile and he took alot of time prep-ping my arm before, during, and after the tattoo. Everyone in the shop was extremely friendly and really into tattoos so I never got that feeling of hurry up and get your tattoo and get out I only want your money. I would highly recommend this place and hopefully he posts the picture of my tat on his site because its freakin amazing.

I have 17 piercings, almost all from Lori, and Ill never go anywhere else. She knows what shes doing. Very clean, and she tells you what shes doing as she goes along so you know what to expect. She has a routine where she goes through the care sheets with you first before piercing you, as well as write down the gauge size for your jewerly and she ensures you of the material the jewerly is made of. Very friendly and has a steady hand. Literally youre in and out. Cant wait for number 18! --People always ask me what I have done, so here is my list:-- Left ear: Lobes 1-3, cartilage, conch and tragus Right ear: lobes 1-3, two sets of cartilage (industrial), and snug. Then I have my tongue, both nipples and now a set of back dermals, which I did last week. Lori, you rock!

I give it two stars cause I have got my belly button done here years ago... And I loved the lady she was so nice and helped me get my belly button repierced, I know many people who get their tattoos done there and such amazing work believe me... But I wanted my first tattoo to be done there I have no idea about the process of getting one I came in there asking many questions wanting to understand how it worked.. I never had someone make me feel so stupid in my life, sucks they have such a rude and disrespectful girl at the front desk, you should always make people feel welcome and help them learn not try to embarrass them! Will not be returning sorry

Went to bluz tattoos to get my nose pierced because they had a great price, few hours later i went with a friend to a different tattoo place for her tattoo and right away the piercer asked what i had done to my nose, i told him i got it pierced a few hours ago and he told me it was pierced all wrong, it was way to far up and theres no way it would heal! dont ever go to bluz for a piercing youll end up wasting money and having to pay more money and go through the pain all over again to get it re done.

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Dano Collins did 2 Marine Corps related pieces for me. First was my chest piece back in 2012 3 days after boot camp graduation, and it was a freaking master piece that everybody loves. I have gotten more compliments then I can count. 2nd piece was on my forearm done yesterday May 4th 2017, and yet again he did another masterpiece. I love this shop and everyone in it. I will be sure to return along side with my Wife for more ink in the future!

After having a less than desired experience at Lady Luck, I decided to try my 2nd tattoo here. It came out ok, but Chris did far more black than red (it needed to be at least 50% red), didnt fully fill areas and just overall an OK tattoo job. He mentioned a guy there loving Star Wars and that he would have loved to do this piece. I kinda wish I had waited for that guy. He told me afterward to contact him later to fix and fill in. Never had any calls or emails returned.
