I stopped in to this store two weeks ago to inquire about 120 minute IPA by Dogfish Head. I had gotten a email from Dogfish that it was being released in MI. Upon entering the store I saw Cliff the owner and Brian the beer guy. I asked about 120 min IPA and was told they were not getting it. I asked to leave my number, for if and when it was released, could they call me. The owners answer was "NO, why would I call you, I dont call anyone." My response was, "then I will call everyday until it comes in." Cliff responds, "then you will definitely not get one. I hold these beers for only my customers that enjoy this type of beer that have been coming here for years. I can do whatever I want, this is my store. I have owned it for 32 years and no one is going to tell me that I cant." Well Cliff, you can own it for 32 more without me being a customer. I will never step back inside that store because I think that you are rude and obnoxious and for the fact that you think you can do whatever you want, disregarding the rules of companies that you sell beer for. Good luck to anyone who continues to shop there. I hope that you may get Limited releases if you ask for them. But with Cliffs attitude, unless you are an established customer that he knows, that will probably never happen.

I came into the wine palace simply to buy some beer and liquor for my graduation party. Without even asking, I was offered assistance by one of their employees, Anthony, and he was a major help. I ended up purchasing $400 worth of items - Anthony and Lisa were both kind enough to help carry everything to my car! All of the prices were state minimums and they made the process super fast. I would highly recommend the Wine Palace - theyre the best guys in town!

No more business for this store. Some of the counter guys are assholes. One guy in particular, maybe the owner, is the biggest jackass. A loudmouth. Rude, likes to argue and acts like hes doing you a favor by waiting on you. Complete douchebag. They may have a good selection but some of the guys in here are just dirtbags. I recommend the Keg & Wine store on Beech Daley in Redford. Much nicer people, good selection and they know how to talk to customers.

Yes this place has a large selection but some of the guys who work behind the counter treat customers like theyre not even there, simply ring them up, take the money and go back to ignoring you again. Im rating this place simply based on their customer service. I would go back and spend quite a bit each month if they were nicer to people, since the concept is as foreign as they are I will take my money elsewhere... Shameful.

Great selection of craft beer and other liquors. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I used to live 2 minutes away, but now I only get to visit a few times a year. I havent had their food, but it always smells great. Their craft beer prices seem pretty fair. Most of their bombers are on par with other stores in the metro Detroit area. Maybe $1 or so higher, but nothing terrible.

Great service and friendly staff! I go there often and their prices and selection is second to none. I often pick up my lunch and and a libation and sometimes a surprise dinner side to go with something on the grille. I love their expansive selections of wine and beer for parties and family functions. The best liquor store in Livonia and good citizens for the community!

Im very happy with Wine Palace; Huge wine selection, great u-bake pizza, great deli, lasagna, awesome pizza rolls, anti-pasta! I wont go anywhere else...ask for Kelly if youre not getting the proper attention. I dont know them personally but Ive never had an issue so far; they always have a friendly smile and say "How are you doing when we come in.

Crazy amount of product. If you like to try different beers but dont want to necessarily pull the trigger on a 4 or 6 pack, this place has you covered. They have 3 isles of craft beers and you can mix and match all of them in your own 6 pack.
