Gas Dock and MUCH More! Riverside Grocery is one of my favorite places on Lake St Clair! It has deep water, no height restrictions, and e-free gas to keep us boaters running on the water. The canal can be entered from either end, and the north entrance could accommodate a big yacht (60?) with a good captain. Gas only though. So now youre there safe, and get to the best parts... THE BOAT KNOTS AND COFFEE! The new owner resurrected the same recipes RG has had for years, and serve the best garlic knots in the Detroit area. This, with the addition of an amazing espresso machine, and Christian the barista, means your living large whether youre hungry or thirsty. Very busy on boating weekends, and very island relaxed at other times. Give it a shot and youll be coming back for years

Jim and his family are great people and the store is a stop worth taking. Whether by car or boat, the ice cream is a hit, and the boat knots (kind of like doughnuts) are awesome! They also sell real marine gas at decent prices - no ethenol, has stabilizers already in it, etc. They also sell liquer now and have some unique high end rums, etc.

The owner, Jim, and his family are wonderful people. Service is timely and friendly. Food is delicious. The shop has a good array of products and is very, very clean. Cant wait to visit again!
