An improvement over other Market Baskets but still falls short in many areas. Most of it is much like putting lipstick on a pig. Natural foods are mis-merchandised to give people an impression that they are buying something better quality than what they are actually buying. Prices are indeed overrated - since the summer boycott has ended, the pricing gap between them and virtually all their competitors has narrowed considerably - in many cases, it has been eliminated. While certainly better than your typical Star Market in Boston, they arent that far from Shaws in Burlington once thinking you can always use a $5 off $50 available through a website called recyclebank or even Hannaford down the street for preservative-free products. However, Wegmans can be better if you regularly buy a fair amount of family packs and you use their shoppers club mailer coupons. Trader Joes is certainly better for most similar items carried in both stores. For those that just dont care about quality, dont want to buy bulk sized items youd typically find in a warehouse club, and want to get out with the cheapest grocery bill and want to pay their savings up in increased healthcare costs, I guess go ahead and shop here as many store brand items are value based items with a lower standard quality than their competitors standard line (and henceforth a lower price). To get out of this shopping complex, I followed my way back to where I came in from. The street directs you to turn a left into a construction/hard hat area - how could you direct customers to do this? Overall, this is a 2 star review but definitely a solid 1 star with this.

One of the few stores that opts for cashiers over self-checkout, which is better for both shoppers and store employees. Huge produce section with those tough to find exotics, well-stocked seafood counter, and crazy sales (1.5 dozen eggs for 99 cents) make it a must-visit on shopping day. Store is nearly always busy, so if you dont like too many other humans around while shopping youll have to go on a Tuesday night at 8pm. The trip to the store is definitely worth it, however; savings on grocery bills are insanely good.

Not much on ambience or services, but very clean with good food at the lowest prices in the area. An above average selection of ethnic foods. Not a lot of choices in natural and organic groceries. Otherwise, a huge selection in all price ranges. The quality is good, especially the vegetables, which are almost farm stand quality. It has a WiFi café where you can sit down to eat their take-out food. Conveniently located, but susceptible to rush-hour traffic.

I will always hold dear to my heart, this business. My 1st job with the original owners...now today the current owner was my friend, while working with his family...Demoylas was its original name...I worked directly for his Uncle George...best job...best business to date...its withstands the test of time to date...local purchases of fruits and vegetables, still ties itself with the people they serve daily.

Have been a Market Basket customer for about 6 years now and this location doesnt disappoint. Its fairly big and with a large selection. Great produce and deli areas. The only downside is the fact that its always packed, so be prepare to be in line for a while. No issues with parking as long as you dont mind walking to the store, if you prefer to park close to the entrance then be prepared to wait.

Best Prices compared to any large supermarket in Massachusetts. Always easy to find an employee if you need to know where something is. Plus they employ a lot of disabled people that normally would have a difficult time getting employed and I think Market Basket should be recognized for that. Very happy with the way they treat their customers and they treat their employees just as well.

This store is outstanding! The store is always clean and organized, the employees are courteous and knowledgeable and we save a significant amount over stop and shop. Theres a great selection of meats, fish and produce which are generally very fresh. Shipping during odd hours is encouraged, as the store gets very busy. Possibly the best place to grocery shop in Waltham!

Not only does this Market Basket have the upscale feeling of a more premium grocery store, but it is staffed by many very friendly people. Not only are the register lines usually less than 3 people long but there is always a great team member able to answer your questions. The Hot food selection is wonderful for a quick bite but the prices are what take center stage.

Good prices, slightly busy/dirty but WARNING: they close super early for a grocery store. They close at 7:00 on Sundays and often close hours early on the weekends. Its totally random. Went there before 8:00 PM on a Friday night once and all the lights were off. Some guy walking by said "they do that sometimes". Its too bad. They are losing out on a lot of business.

My favorite Market Basket. Ive only been to like 5 but this ones the largest and has the best cafe area that Ive seen so far. Prices are great they have tons of cashiers on all the time and theyre friendly. The world is better with Market Basket I drive out of my way to avoid some of the less friendly more expensive stores.

We spend at least $20 less a week on groceries by shopping here instead of Stop and Shop! Plus their produce selection is fantastic! Busy store, but they always have almost all checkout lines going, so it moves fast. I also like that the employees wear collared shirts with ties, makes them look much more professional!

First! :) Very fresh and clean. I live in Waltham, but Ive been shopping in the new-ish Westford Market Basket many times, and the set-up and location of things is almost identical. Very excited about the fresh-squeezed orange juice and the inexpensive decent-quality pizza. The overall good prices are great too!

Warehouse sized place to find deals, and then most of the time, wait in a massive line to check out. People in the area love Market Basket and every one of them seems to be shopping whenever I go. One of the 3 places I go in Waltham to get groceries (Shaws and Hannaford as well). Great place if you like bargains.

Great store. I want to shout out to cashier Soraya T in Waltham. In my 30+ years grocery shopping never has a cashier been so helpful in getting all of my purchases into my reusable bags. Usually I have to fight off the tendency to use a zillion plastic bags and insistence things wont fit in my reusables.

Great customer service here most of the time. There are a couple people that are unpleasant but the majority of the workers are so nice! Its always so busy here! Always packed! Customers get all stressed and then are rude to the cashiers and baggers. Give them a smile, people, theyre working hard!

Great locally owned grocery chain. Best prices, clean, efficient, helpful staff. Larger selection than many other grocery stores. I save a lot of money when I shop here - and they even have Halo Top low carb, sugar free ice cream for $4.99. Dozen eggs for .99. Kerrygold grass fed butter, $2.99.

Good food and products but the lack of quality from employees is disgusting. I witnessed two employees shelving cookies, but they threw the merchandise around for fun across the whole aisle, then dropped it on the floor and resheleved it and pretended nothing ever happened. Terrible.
