You get what you pay for in terms of quality. The company functions like a slave shop, it passes on many of the health care costs that it should provide to its employees to tax payers. The list of abusive and intimidating practices is very long against Wal-Mart. The company depends and exploits the hard working class in our country; no right to firm a union, etc etc. If only fellow citizens would wake up and utilize their consumer / purchasing power to go elsewhere and thus protests these practices. I would love to see another company (ideally from Latin America) compete in this space with Walmart but not on market share but rather attracting workers from Walmart. One way would be by paying $15.00 min hr and full benefits. Youd see a massive exodus..

Its an ok experience. However too many things are mixed up in the store. Theres not much of a selection when it comes to fashionable clothing. Its not the walmart experience you would like to see. The store looks dead. Extra long lines with only 4 registers open. Staff look miserable stocking and fixing items on shelves and racks. You cant find an employee in the store that knows where things are or what things are that you hope are in the store. They need more english speaking employees. They need to be more strict with their staff and not let them all huddle at the front of the store and talk and have a good time while long lines are forming. It feels like a dead zone there. Also walmart prices are not cheap. My total always racks up a hefty receipt.

Was in line and the lady before me was looking for the bar that separates orders so I handed her one from the register I was standing in line at. When the clerk began her order I asked the clerk to leave it up as I would be using it, she stated she didnt need them and I told her I did and would prefer to use it. I was STUNNED when she flipped it up on the belt in anger!!! I called for the manager on my phone and as I was explaining what happened she continued to be completely rude and over talk me!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! the manager guaranteed he would address what happened and what he witnessed...

Messy Store, Uncaring Management. Went to pick up a TV that was ordered online. Waited 30 minutes for an associate to go to the pickup center. several walked by and used the phone to page out for me but no one came. finally one of the other employees who had paged out for me decided to do it himself. But only after I said I was taking the TV out myself if no one came. Asked to speak with the manager afterward and he took 10 minutes to come out of the office and then barely engaged with me when I spoke with him. You could not pay me to go into that store again.

I know workers there personally who smoke weed and do drugs. There is a specific couple that calls their friends and family when system is down so they can go into the store to steal. I have contacted Walmart in Salem MA plenty of times and still No Results..... When videos are down etc, employees will make phone calls or texts to their family members to start taking baby supplies. There is this young girl that works at Walmart in Lynn MA who informed me that she took the drug test with her friends pee. That place is so unprofessional

Worst experience ever! I ordered comforter online for my son... They mixed up something in their database... When I came to this shop to get my comforter, Walmarts guys said that I have to pay for this comforter again. I paid for it twice, because my son wanted the comforter so much and I didnt want to disappoint my son with unprofessional actions of Walmart employees. Walmart at Salem is the worst! Train your employees! Fat-brained customer service.

I have been there over a period of 6 weeks (May to June 2016) getting eye exams & glasses for myself & family. These ladies I feel have the BEST customer service & professionalism to their customers. Over that course of time that area has been exceptionally neat, clean with a wonderful display of items. Perhaps when someone saw it was messy that may have been due to ALL the reconstruction they were doing in that store.

if i could give zero stars i would. horrible customer service! i have been calling the Salem location store for over an hour now ! i have called 30 times and not one single person has picked up the phone . i contacted Danvers to see if maybe they could get in touch with someone from Salem and they also could not do so . i will be calling corporate right now !!!

An older Walmart location, its selection is varied and the prices match other larger locations within the chain. The only drawback is that since the location is smaller, there are some services and products that larger locations carry in abundance that this location just doesnt carry. But all in all, it is Walmart in every way and the prices reflect that.

Dont go to the optometrist here. She charges $110 and thats way too much for a contact fitting. Ive always had it at $60 at other locations. She was over 30 mins late for her first patient and didnt care to apologize. Her outfit wasnt appropriate as she wore a dress that did not seem professional to me. Ill never come to this location for a fitting again.

Needs to make there aisle easier to find things and put in a place to read what is in that particular aisle. As most store place them over head instead of on the aisle shelf or rack to make it easier, though it would be helpful if they used both displays instead of running around trying to find the aisle you want be in to find what you are looking for.

Messiest Walmart store Ive ever been to, and its a shame... I would spend a lot more money there if they had better costumer service, I waited 35 minutes to be attended for a paint order (never went back for paint since). They need to seriously spend the time training their staff on how to and when to assist customers. Good luck Walmart.

I called about a game system and was left on hold for up to 10 minutes. No one came back to recheck or to see if I was helped in any way. Then when you call back theres no answer. I will be contacting The best Corporate office about the store and is disrespect towards its customers.

Its and Ok Walmart but some of the cashiers are not at the register even though their lights are on. it seems more confusing at the front of the store instead of it being orderly. its ok if you need something to get. but most times the lines are long to pay.

Worst customer service via the phone. Nothing but disregard and ignorance through the phone. They take forever to answer and then with attitudes no friendliness put you on hold and leaves you there..... Sam Walton must be turning in his grave!!

Never fully stocked...their CLEARANCE racks are super hard to find but the employees are pretty awesome and helpful but they do seem to be shorthanded employee to shopper ratiowise...but the toy section is great and the bathrooms are clean.
