This is a fun little mall in Salem. A lot of cool things to look at and buy. Also has a fun picture place that I recommend trying out. It has a movie theater but they charge similar prices to big theaters and have none of the convieneces. The seats are small and uncomfortable. The screen is small and the back rows sit under a lower ceiling. It didnt obstruct my view but Im only 56"... might be an issue if you are taller. It was very hot like the A.C. w asnt even on and there was only 10-12 people in the theater. Also anything happening outside the exit door you can hear clearly. I was in the middle of the back row. You can hear people walking by, hear full conversations and any car that happens to go by. Made listening to the movie hard and frustrating at times. I would not recommend this theater. If they dropped their prices it might be worth it but currently its just not. $5 or less, maybe. Would be a good dollar or $2 theater

Not your stereotypical shopping mall! Every retail store, restaurant, or service business is privately owned and well-maintained. A fun diversion if you are looking for a respit from the bustle of Essex Street. The Mall currently has the following shops: Bewitched in Salem Big Sals Superior Barbershop The Bootery CinemaSalem Coldwell Bankers Dragonfly Gallery Essexs NY Pizza and Deli Golden Nails Julien Hair Networx Jodi Bee Bakes, Vegan and Gluten Free Bakery Kan.del, American Made Candles and Home Decor Lotus Gifts Northshore Alliance of Gay and Lesbian Youth (NAGLY) Nightmare Factory Omen Polonus European Deli and Ice Cream Red Line Cafe Remix Church Salem Vintage Photography Silver Moon Comics and Collectibles Thai Place Village Silversmith Village Tavern Grill and Oyster Bar Witch City Ink Tattoos Witch Tees

Undoubtedly one of the oddest, strangest places Ive ever been. It was like entering a mall but felt like a warehouse/storage room inside with some random vendors and stores. Many of the spaces were closed up and the walk to the bathrooms was very pre 2000s mall (with long, scary hallways and odd doors leading in circles) I kept finding odd wares for sale, and stranger and stranger sights. Truth be told, I sort of enjoyed how incredibly odd it was, and Id totally drag someone else with me into a repeat of that experience.

The mall was really nice and clean about 6 years ago when me and my family started taking a yearly trip to salem Massachusetts. But the last few years this mall has gone down hill the bathrooms are really nasty and the place is not that clean overall. They still have cool stores and good restaurants but the mall itself needs updating

Not a lot to say about this little mall. There are a few shops. It is entirely geared toward tourism, so it is less of a standard mall and more just a tourist trap. There are a few cool stores in this mall though. A lot of the stores open in the mall and out on Essex street. They do have clean restrooms, though.

A bit drab inside, but all of the stores themselves are beautiful and unique and have all sorts of trinkets and rare gifts you can only find in Salem. The candle (kandel) store and the village silversmith are favorites of mine! Definitely worth a visit.

Went here for Escape the Room Salem. It was my first time in the mall and it was a Tuesday night, so kind of empty, but it seemed like a nice mall. Escape the room was really fun though. Definitely recommend it.

Nice little mall with a variety of stores and places to eat. And they have benches inside where you can sit and relax, a plus, especially during extreme hot or cold weather. And theres a movie theater there.

This mall is pretty run down, and doesnt have very many stores or restaurants. ...its like the reject shops have come here to die... The best shops are the ones on Essex street that are not in the mall.

Good place to cool off in the summer or warm up in the winter, but not a true mall so to speak. Museum Place Mall has only a few shops, an excellent pizza place and Thai reataurant, and a small cinema.

The name "mall" is deceiving and there are very few displays worthy of the word "museum". Its more like a souvenir mall. the restaurants are great, however, lots of improvements are needed.

From the outside and even the inside it looks like nothing but trust me most of the stores are actually very friendly and have almost anything you need and something for everybody

Owners obviously dont maintain the building, and if you dont get back to your car before 845pm the elevator will not work. I am sure this is a blatant ADA violation.

Small mall with minimal shops. Good movie theater. The public restroom always smells terrible and is always vandalized. Not sure if anyone upkeeps the bathroom.

I love many of the shops here, but the mall itself it terrible. It always smells bad, the bathroom is horrific, and the whole thing is very depressing.

Construction going on, wouldnt go on a weekend, too much crowded havoc...try a weekday morning and it might be more pleasant, minus any chaos.

Neat little place with lots of shops. My suggestion however is do not go near this place around Halloween it is usually packed to the gills.

People seem nice and there were all kinds of shops and bars. Only bad thing the restrooms are a little hidden and covered in graffiti.

Bathrooms are always dingey especially during tourist season. The shops here are pretty cute but the mall itself needs an update.

A bit of a dated shopping mall with some upkeep and cleaning necessary needed in various aspects. Located under parking garage.

This mall was built in 1979 and hasnt been renovated since. The restrooms are extremely dirty, and there isnt many stores.

This place is fairly gross. Everything closes at 5. Not at all what youd expect from a mall in the heart of a City.

We went here to use the public restroom. It is a very dark mall. This is a good place to get Salem souvenirs.

This is a good place to check out in Salem. There is a lot of touristy merchandise and some so-so food.

Small mall with very specific shops, not a general mall for everyday shopping. Good restaurants.

Nothing special about it. Its definitely not your typical Mall. It needs a few more businesses.

Tiny, but a few neat shops. Could use a renovation, and the bathrooms are subpar.
