After a very wonderful experience with the salesperson buying a recliner as a big surprise for my husband for Christmas, I received a thank you note was sent to my home in the mail from Lazy Boy - I pulled it away from my husband and passed it off as advertising. A couple days there was a message on my answering machine thanking me for the purchase of my recliner and making sure I was happy with it. I am sure my husband had heard the message, but isnt saying anything. The salesperson was well aware this was for Christmas as we planned when I would pick it up, when he wasnt home, etc. I called the No. Dartmouth Store and spoke with the manager, who apologized and said that is what the salespeople are instructed to do. She said she would call her manager and get back to me. So far, 2 days and nothing. I never expected Lazy Boy to spoil my Christmas surprise. We are so close to Christmas. If I had the time, I would return the chair and buy him something else. That is what Christmas is about. What would have been rated as a good experience, now gets Zero" stars from me. Hope you all at Lazy Boy enjoy your Christmas. PS - I had to give one "star" to post this review - that seems unfair as well

It should be called lousy boy. They made me wait for months to deliver a couch and when they did it, it couldnt fit through the door. The seller only was concerned about selling and did not ask basic question like the entrance dimensions.
