It is a nice store with a nice selection. However, the rating is low because I csme from out of state to visit my mother when I visit the store. I got a very nice shrug type top I have been longing for off a rack that has a clearly mark sign for price, unless otherwise mark, the display on sign noted on the rack. It has a tag on it. When I went to pay for it, the tag was gone and the clerk said, I could not buy it without a tag. They would price or put a new one. The clerk went on to ssy, it would have to go all the way back to the corporate offide to get a price tag put on it (an estimated two week process)! Now, I could understand if fhis was say furniture or something unique when the value could vary a great deal but a top which the price is generalized to a low generic price for a quick sale to kedp a large category of inventory moving...clerk should have some leave-way (small authority) to still sell it. I tend to not be so pessimistic ut I cant help but wonder if I was only told that so the clerk could keep the nice garment for herself. Either way. It was upsetting and annoying. This should be a better way to handle the "no price tag" issues.

One of the better thrift stores in the Boston area. Ive yet to take a trip in and not walk out with something great, whether it be clothing, books, or something to hang on my walls. The inventory changes a lot, so its easy to take in a few trips in one week and find completely different items to pick through. The window displays always have a great aesthetic, and there is rarely nothing worth bidding on for the window auction.

Beside supporting a good cause, Boomerangs gives me the opportunity to find accessories I would never find in other secondhand shops. Ive had the best luck with belts and suspenders. They have business suits too - which are in good shape - and many other eclectic finds. If you go here, be prepared to find things you didnt expect to see.

Boomerangs is a really cool store, I found tons of wearable clothes there. They even have furniture! Everything was great. However, after purchasing a desk, we drove to the parking lot to pick it up, and it had already been picked up by someone who hadnt paid :( A better system for buying furniture should be put in place.

Love this place for its funky accessories, cheap prices and range of basic to fancy fashions. Last time I was in the store they were selling paperbacks BOGO free (read: 2 for $2! hard to beat). If you have the patience to comb through the racks, you can find some amazing steals. Staff is always smiling and happy to help.

My favorite thrift store experience - ever! From the beginnings on Canal Street to now; I have enjoyed the "hunt!" Nice staff; lively atmosphere and Im happy to see that folks just drop by to sit and read. What a wonderful sense of community in the community.

I love Boomerangs! Great second hand stuff for great prices. You never know what you will find. Sometimes you find brand new this with the tags on, High spirited place and proceed go to AIDS research. There is anything you want or need to be found here. Go!

You never know what you might find, not to mention this is a true "charity shop" all proceeds go to the AIDS Action Committee. So what if you dont really need that vintage jacket, its cheap and that money helps someone in need.

Great cause. Selection is eccletic, hip and you can find quality unique stuff. Some of the staff are better and customer service that others. But there a few folks there that make you feel really appreciated. Worth a trip.

Picked over, small venue. The better things are 10-12$, havent been worn before. Some of those were ok, but there were very few. But try it if u want to try, be my guess. Bigger sizes I think have more of a shot

The BEST thrift shop. They actually sort clothing by size!! All that, and its for a great cause. Its easy to look up the impact AIDS Action Committee is having, thanks in large part to this phenomenal franchise.
