I shop at this store because I have no choice - I dont drive and its the closest supermarket to me. If I did drive, I would shop elsewhere. This Stop & Shop is poorly managed and staffed. They stock products inconsistently and haphazardly. Ive shopped there for over 20 years. The store was completely rebuilt about 10 years ago and refurbished just a couple of years ago. Since then, service, quality and selection have gone down hill. Their prices have jumped significantly in the last year - not sure if this is store specific or applies across the entire chain. I hope this store gets new management or changes hands because they are either unwilling or incapable of providing a positive customer experience.

The customer service of cashier number 3 is so bad, her name is Natalia or something, she throw my avocado, flowers, and more so strong. Her face look unhappy. Doesnt say hi, thanks or good bye. I asked her my flowers are buy 1 and get 1 free right? And then she said dont you see the minus 5.99 there? Omg The way she did and the way she talked . It is not good customer service. Stop and shop need to do something with this. I was so unhappy

Great place to work! I managed to get hired at age 15, and working as a bundler is a great work experience. Most customers are very kind to us, and even a portion of them have positive conversation with us. This store is also convenient because it is right down the street so walking to there is easy. So many people I know shop here. They give great food, drinks, and other products. I would recommend this to a lot of people.

Stop & Shop on Freeport Street and where I do my shopping, and I have shopped there for many years. The location is not far from my home, and I like the location, and its very convenience for me to shop there. I have always received the necessary service that I require, and any help needed in any given situation. Its my number one choice for shopping for my family.

Almost always out of most common items. Also is outstandingly over priced. Even "Stop & Shop Deals" are over priced. NEVER enough people bagging or working The registers in the same shift. The ONLY thing good about this place is the convenient location. The South Bay location is EVEN WORSE. There just is NOT a good Stop & Shop in the entire Boston area, sadly.

I have had enough negative experiences at this particular Stop & Shop to never shop here again. I purchased multiple meats from the butcher department (hamburger, steak, chicken), all with multiple days until expiration & they all smelled poorly. The grocery items (canned, dry food) have been fine, but I would never buy meat or dairy from here.

This is my current favorite grocery store. I think the produce is fresher here than at Star and the staff are WAY friendlier than the staff at South Bays Stop and Shop. There is also a Dunkin Donuts in the store if you need that.

I love going to this s&s location. They are pretty good with their inventory. Their produce is a lot fresher compared to the south bay location. They also have an alcohol section so you dont need to go somewhere to get wine.

Another reliable supermarket in Dorchester. It is a good place to go shopping and to avoid the rush that may happen at the South Bay location. Usually has all of the items that are needed for a good shopping experience.

Just like most other Stop & Shops. It can use some minor renovations/updates but this shop serves its purpose well. Theres a decent sized parking lot so its convenient to stop here when you are on the road.

Normal stoppys, needed restocking after storm, lots of items missing. They dont sell half gallons of the S&S fat free coffee cream and No more 3 liters of sodas sold here. Very little lines with baggers.

Nice enough store, a bit tight/crowded. Dont have the range of selection or as many "family size" products (e.g. small boxes of pancake mix, no big bags, etc). Had to bag 75% of my groceries, no baggers.

Too small inside for the large number of people who visit daily. The school nearby uses the parking lot for pick ups, so forget about going in the afternoon
