Well...had an "emergency" which is typically when you find yourself calling a locksmith! And you also typically then prepare yourself to be utterly taken advantage of in a time of need with a ludicrous bill. Well...this was an atypical experience. Its a family business and a perfect example of proud immigrants (originally from Turkey) working hard and running an honest family business. "Mrs." answered the phone and put "Mr." in the phone. He listened to my need for a new coded key to be cut, delivered and then programmed on-site to work around the set of keys I left in a hotel on the West Coast last night. 1. He immediately provided me with some guidance in obtaining a security code he needed from my vehicle manufacturer which saved me around $100 or more. The software he owns is a fee-for-service licensing and theres no getting around the fees if he needs to get that code himself. 2. Fortunately we live very close to their shop...but regardless he was at my building in under 10 minutes. 3. He was polite and gracious upon arrival, drive down into my garage and parked near my vehicle. Both of the two keys he had pre-cut at his shop (rather wuickly!) worked driver and passenger doors and ignition easily and on the first shot. You know that frustrating and annoyed feeling you get when you get home from (insert large hardware store name) and the new keys you bought dont work? Well these worked. Probably because hes an experienced locksmith with 14 years in business. 4. It took him merely 10 minutes to program both keys and he was quite competent in setting his equipment up and plugging in to my vehicles computer. 5. He has Mobil payment on his smart phone and accepts every credit card and every other form of payment possible. How rare is this? When youd like to use your Amex and have no choice but to use either cash, debit or a MC/Visa you really dont want to use. They are sacrificing twice the CC fees by accepting my Amex yet he was gracious regardless. 6. When I asked him if I could swing by his shop later to have a duplicate set of house keys made to get me by, he offered to do this for no charge just to be nice. 7. All in all I got 2 new vehicle chip keys, 2 house keys and a mailbox key with home service call for what is probably 1/2 the price of a single key from the vehicle dealer and he was nice about it! Why would you possibly not call these lovely people if you find yourself needing an emergency locksmith or even just routine lockset and key work? First time Ive ever felt "good" about an emergency locksmith service!

Unlike Burskys the guy who answered spoke to me with the up most respect and inside of asking me for my address and trying to type it in the computer he had asked me to text it to him and called back and said he is sending a tech out asap and he gave me a quote and I told him how much I got in my pocket and he said worse case they can fix my igniton or replace it for what I got in my pocket! So, far I am pleased with them! I am going to edit this when the service is done! **update** They sent the guy out to see what was the problem and the guy was able to fix it in less then 30 minutes and Im back on the road! He didnt have to replace nothing! Im happy they got to me quickly!

Talk about service with care? Thats the place. I had to get my car key repaired as the battery licked and I couldnt open it to replace the battery. They not only fixed my key but went above and beyond by helping me fix my trunk lock which was stuck for few months (I was only able to open my trunk from inside the car before that). In addition, I only had one key when I first got my car so they advised me its a good idea to get a spare one as the cost if I lose my single key would be enormous. I really appreciate their help and the service with care I received. I recommend this business to everyone.

Outstanding service! Very courteous and helpful. I had to make duplicate keys from blank Honda key shells. They gave me the information and price on the phone. Making the Honda key from original is hard as it takes 2-3 attempts to get it precisely fitting. Both husband and wife worked very patiently to make sure that new keys were working on both ignition and doors of the car. Husband in person checked that both keys worked in all cases. The price was very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend this locksmith to anyone I know.

I cant say enough good things about this shop. I have stopped by many times to ask for sometimes obscure things. They seem to have everything even though the store is very small. If they didnt have something they gave good advice for how to find it. Best of all, the owners LOANED me a stud finder which I needed for a project. This saved me considerable expense and I was able to complete a project that hadnt been going well very easily. Try them out; a friendly alternative to the big box stores.

You can immediately tell that these are genuine people. Im ecstatic that it was less than half price to cut and program a couple of keys for my car compared to any other place I contacted. I tried dozens of places and the lowest price was 150 and it came with conditions. This place was friendly and quoted me correctly over the phone. Service was fast. Had my new car key laser cut and programmed at this place, I have to say, its a great service with a great price. I had to change my schedule of coming in several times, and they were very accommodating and flexible for my last minute changes. The owner and his wife have a great sense of humor. Together they make such an awesome couple and they always find a way to make you laugh. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to have anything done on their keys :)

We had a wonderful experience working with the lovely couple running Brighton Locksmith Shop and Hardware. We needed to get a keyless entry fob programmed for our 2010 Toyota Rav4 - a purportedly difficult and expensive task if done through the dealership. Not only was the owner able to program the key, he did it swiftly and affordably. They were so kind and welcoming. It was a pleasure doing business with them and we look forward to working with them in the future.

Great service and friendly place! I needed a mortise cylinder to match a specific keyway entry. Called a number of places, not many stores carry it or not open during off-business hours. The owners at Brighton locks were so friendly when I went to pick it up. They treat every customer as their friend and the prices are very reasonable compare to others. Highly recommend! I know where I will go next time when I have a lock/key problem.

we had two old, tired, barely functioning lock cylinders replaced and 8 new keys made. this work was done on a Sunday morning at our house, after my having called the shop the day before. the new locks and keys are perfect. the price was given up front before the work was done and seemed to me very fair. Issak, who did the work, was a delight, a complete pleasure to deal with. i cannot imagine what could have been done better.
