The store is fun, but smaller than the website photos make it seem. I was expecting something cavernous. I was surprised at the size, but still charmed at the offerings, and found items for my dog as well as some gifts for others. Make sure you hang on to your receipt if you need to make an exchange or return, however. I bought a sweater for my dog and both girls working on Friday, February 20 -- one week ago -- told me that it could be returned if it was too small for him. I cant find my receipt now, and they wont (cant?) even offer me a store credit. They assured me that it could be returned ("even if it has a little hair on it," one of them said with a laugh), but neither mentioned hanging on to the receipt. "We have a strict return policy," I was just told. Today. Not last week. Then she mentioned that she could have looked up my purchase if I had enrolled in their friends and family program (or whatever its called). I dont live in the area. I was under the impression that this was going to be an easy return if necessary. I didnt plan to lose the receipt, but most places at least offer the store credit. This is ridiculous.

Absolutely love this place! Yes, its a bit pricier than other dog stores because its on Newbury, but their service and quality products make it worth it. When I bring my dog in they give him lots of love and attention. They have helped me find different items I need or order them if theyre out. They even allow me to order something to the store without any requirement to purchase it. They have my dogs brand of dog food (acana) and other quality brands. Their membership program is great and if I dont want the $10 off I can donate it to the ASPCA. The women working here are also down to earth and go out of their way to help everyone who come through the doors. Definitely check this place out for your dog needs.

We love Fish & Bone! The Husband and I first started going there for kitty cat supplies, toys and treats and such. But since getting a puppy (!!!) weve been able to get a harness, toys, travel bowls, treats, and even her little name tag from there. A GREAT store, with a nice selection of good dog treats, and a very helpful set of people working there--I always enjoy going my trips to Fish & Bone!

This place is like the Whole Foods of all things dog and cat. This store can be a little pricey but keep in mind you decided to shop on Newbury Street. Great selection of accessories and food for your pet with a knowledgable and attentive staff has made this place a regular stop when Im in the area.

Went to get a Secret Santa gift for work and the staff was extremely helpful! They worked hard to find just the right gift in my price range and were very pleasant throughout the process. My friend and her puppy loved the gift! Thanks!
