Visiting the area, and stopped in this store to buy a table with my daughter.What a terrible experience! Found an accent table we liked, carried it around the store for about a half an hour then took it to the front checkout area for them to hold for us while we continued to shop. When we get up to check out, the table is gone. Some other person had come up and told them she had "seen" the table up on a shelf and wanted it, so they just let her buy it, all the while knowing that we were the ones who actually held the table and told them we were going to buy it. They kept changing their story about why they sold it out from under us...the clerk who took the table to hold for me said one thing, then the store Manager told a totally different story!! Bottom line....TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ! The store manager flippantly told us it was just bad luck for us. Seriously?? It was pure incompetence! I have shopped in Home Goods all over the country, and this one is the absolute worst.
