Went to inklife when they first opend cause seen a deal that could not be passed down. Me thinking it was an actual shop and for the deal they where having I cant go wrong. I went to get some cover up work done there and when I first walked in the atmosphere was nice and even artist Matt was pretty cool. After I get done sitting hours for the cover up I am in love with the tattoo. After its all healed up in slowly changing my mind it was supposed to be a cover up and I still can see the old smaller tattoos under it. The faces are not proportional and the second angel on the bottom I dont know what is going on with the body its latterly scribbled mess. Very disjointed. I went back there after a while to talk about what can be done about this get it cleaned up a lil and do the second coverup on the wrist. Instead of being that same friendly talkative helpful artist he was on the phone texting or doing whatever the hole time. I even let him know I was stopping by he aid it was cool and all. He stayed on the phone, he was sounding like a complete dick like he was making his money so he dont need to be all cool anymore. Was not the same atmosphere as when I first went in. Tattoo I strongly regret going to this shop should have paid more and got an actual cover up and not a "distraction piece" in his words. Defiantly not shop quality and I suggest everyone do there homework before going to this shop. Ive being following Matt on social media for YEARS. When I would be his cashier at work we would talk about my future tattoos. I ended up getting a sugar skull with some roses a few weeks ago. It is a huge piece to do as a first piece. I was advised to make it into two sessions, and my second appointment is June 17! His work is AMAZING, hes quiet if he feels you dont want to talk, but he always engages with you, by asking if youre okay, if you like it, even asking what my mom will say. His hourly rates are also amazing!! Josh also did my VCH piercing earlier this week. No pain, continued to ask if I was okay and comfortable, and was very gentle!

The shop is clean and nice. The owner Matt is a good dude and has great prices. Just did a huge forearm piece for me and I couldnt be happier with the work or the price. Will be going back in two weeks to finish my sleeve.
