Im the parent of two-year-old twins, so its hard to shop when Im watching them. Its not so hard to get into the store as to bring them and all purchases back out of the store. I was excited to find a double seat shopping cart at this Home Depot. I put the kids in the cart, found what I needed, checked out, and started to head back to my car with the shopping cart. At that point I was stopped by two Home Depot employees (name tags "Nancy" and "Mark - Lot Attendant") who told me I couldnt take the shopping cart to my car in the parking lot. I would have to take my two 2-year-olds out and carry all my stuff across the parking lot to my car. This was wildly unsafe and I never would have purchased anything if I knew I wouldnt be allowed to use the cart to get it back to my car. I *found* the cart in the parking lot in the first place and the parking lot was full of carts. And why else have someone with "lot attendant" on their name tag except to help people and bring carts back? I felt my kids lives were endangered and I will never shop at this location again.

The garden center staff know their products and plants. Over the past two summers I have revamped my yard based upon their advice and it looks great. I had a cement porch installed and the turf was essentially destroyed and I went to purchase sod but was counseled to purchase seed and a grass growing cover soil and investing my time in making sure it received a good watering twice a day. I opted to take their advice and two weeks later I have what looks like a golf green. Plus I estimate I saved more than $400 to $500 and my back from hauling sod around (I have a back condition and am 70). The counselor pointed out the savings but now have a lifelong customer plus I was so impressed I cashed in some bonds and bought HD stock and it is doing well! Win Win! I am in with HD!

i spent 15000 for kitchen cabinets from HD. i paid them to measure my kitchen, design and install. The guys didnt measure right and couldnt install the cabinets when they came. i been battling almost 4 months now and still with out a complete kitchen. The corporate offices refuse to help or refund my money or even compensate me. I gave them numerous chances to get something that fits and still they havent come up with nothing. they want me to accept the shabby job and the cabinets they built in my house. Bottom line DONT TRUST HOME DEPOT THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THERE WORK. Now i have to pay my lawyer to try to fix this and i have to go to the mhic commission to try to get my job done. I hope others dont go through the same thing i am. HD MADE THE MISTAKE BUT I HAVE TO PAY FOR IT.

This is the worst Home Depot around, went to buy a glass interior door, they do not stock them which is not my problem. The problem came in trying to order one. There was no one in millwork, I stood around 20 min, finally an associate walked by. She told me shed find the guy. A few min later she walked back said shed find a manager, I waited another 15 min with no one to come help me. I left. This is not the first time Ive had to stand around to wait for these idiots.

Good luck getting any kind of assistance if your not of European dissent. Especially if your black. You will stand there for at least 10minutes before being acknowledge. If youre European you will get greeted and assisted immediately regardless your needs. If youre anything other than European you will have to schedule an appointment especially if youre inquiring about kitchen cabinets. Awful experience going to the appliance department. Very 1950 like.

I would recommend shopping at Lowes they thank their Veterans with 10% off. Home Depot has their own conception of what a Veteran is. A Veteran is a Man or Woman who volunteers to give the ultimate sacrafice their LIFE so we Americans can live in freedom. The end Home Depot has their own stipulations which is why Im writeing not the $3.40 I would have gotten with the discount. Sad how they dont want to recognize what a Vet. is. LOWES thank you !!!!

Employee in lawn & garden kept trying to send me to the Walmart across the street, telling me he used to manage it and they would have everything I needed (except I had just been there and they didnt have anything I needed). I asked him about ball hitches and he said they (Home Depot) didnt sell them. Knew he was lying so I asked another employee and she directed me to the proper aisle. Wont be coming back to this store again, ever.

Needed new mailbox which I purchased. Wanted numbers for the front and there were no number 1s. Asked for assistance and said out of stock. Went to self checkout and have done that numerous times and there was an issue with machine. It took several minutes to get help because issue with another customer and that machine. Overall I was not happy. Went to Lowes and got the numbers needed.

Miracle workers in this store went out of their way to have a Christmas tree delivered to a bereaved family who are unable to get one themselves. Absolutely fantastic thing to do during the holiday season. I will only shop at Home Depot for the rest of my life, never their competitors. Thank you so much.

Its a giant warehouse of home improvement supplies, so even with a map of the place, finding the exact thing (a screw for instance) you need requires help. Luckily this place is full to brim of staff, unlike Loews.
