I will never go back to this tattoo shop. When I arrived I told Aaron what I wanted and he drew it up. It was a super simple design...a preschooler could have drawn it. Aaron looked like he had just rolled out of bad and he was pretty impatient with us. He tattooed a small drawing on me and when I handed him my credit card he got super annoyed and asked me to go to the ATM at the gas station and get cash because "he didnt have any cash on him and needed some" so I went to the ATM and got out cash and also paid a $4.00 charge for using the ATM and brought it back to him. Now...two weeks later, my tattoo is STILL not healed, it is faded in some spots, and the lines are completely uneven. I know how to take care of a tattoo, I have 7 of them. But this is by far the worst tattoo I have ever gotten. I will not be back.

I just got a new tattoo here and i must say, dont judge a book by its cover! The outside was a little offputting, however, once in the chair, they are extremely sanitary, and very easy to feel comfortable around. They have some really amazing art around the shop to look at, and the portfolios are well put together! They only issue i had, was the pricing. I found the price to be a good bit higher than some of the other places ive been to, but you cant really go cheap on art youre stuck with forever. All in all, i am very satisfied with Bayou Tattoo and would gladly point anyone unafraid to spend a pretty penny right their way!

Still and always will be the oldest and best shop on the Northshore. This place was my home for a few years and it was by far the best shop experience I have ever had. Never had coworkers, we were all a little family that worked together to keep things running as smoothly as possible. Havent been there in a couple years, but Im glad to see that the shop is still going as good as ever and the artists and piercer are top of the line. This is where you go if you not only want an amazing piece of art on your body, but a good, comfortable experience altogether.

So I brought my 15 year old daughter to get her belly button pierced just the other day and the guy that did her belly button told me to step outside for one sec I did but I didnt know why he wanted me outside the shop with my daughter inside. But come to find out the guy asked my daughter if she would do some things with him and he would lower the price for the piercing she told me he kept rubbing her thighs Im beyond mad at this point no one messes with my daughter not even for free piercings!

Dont let Nathan tattoo you, absolute worst tattoo experience Ive had just wanted 2 simple solid black armbands around my bicep and ge couldnt get that right....he seemed as if he didnt want to do the tattoo as soon as I stepped through the door and charged me heavily for it (probably thinking I would leave). The bars were extremely uneven and his hands were WAY to heavy leaving scaring tissue. Had to go somewhere else to get this fixed. Very sad.

I went and got my ears pierced by Melissa she is so sweet and you never judge the outside by the inside because when you first go you would never expect the place to be so clean and sanitary in the inside and everytime they pierce someone with a needle they throw the needle away and they clean your ears with this special bacteria cleaning stuff and give you a paper about your healing process and everything I will definitely go back for a tattoo

Hello ashley g... sounds like mistaken identy... because I havent worked at bayou in a while. The shops awesome and a legend. Every once in awhile someones unhappy. But as an artist when we work on a client we do free touch ups and if your unhappy. Maybe a good idea to talk you your artist because its art. Not something you just stick on. Im yet to see a tattoo design a child could do. Sorry for your inconvenience...

Mike has always done great work on me. Hes done atleast 12 sessions on me and Melissa is great with piercings (knowledge, advice and cleanliness). Clean environment and overall laid back shop. None of the local solicitors hanging out chilling like most tattoo establishments.

The outside is a little off putting (like someone else said) but the inside was so clean! They take their time it was my first time ever getting a body piercing. And I must say if it wasnt for Rai talking to me and making me comfortable I might have cried !

Cant give a negative rating. The artist who tried to give me a tattoo is no longer there. Its unfinished and paid in full and Noone wants to fix it! Imagine that! They want our money not our business.

Finished my tribal tat and it was great!! Mike did it and the piercer gave me a Jacobs ladder that healed quick!! People were kool for a tat place.. Would definitely go back!
