My husband had just gotten out of the dr.s office and needed one of his scripts filled..he told the girl at the counter which one he needed..the rest he was going to get filled at Sams in Alexandria..she proceeded to take his info(NOT telling him what would happen) and gave it to the pharmacist. Later when it was time to pay(outrageous price) my husband asked why so high and the pharmacist said he had filled all of the scripts because he had wrote on the prescription paper and couldnt give it back. That if he wanted just one prescription that the dr had to write them each on a separate piece of paper...so with that being said Walgreens will never fill another prescription for any of my family members...it is WORTH the drive OUT OF TOWN! Saves alot of money!

After getting out of hospital on a Saturday evening (a day after a cesarean) , I had just a few minutes to get to Walgreens and have my prescription filled for the weekend. We drive up to window and the lady working said "we close in 8 minutes", thinking I could at least get my pain meds, but not so, Bc she then said to "come get them tomorrow." I explained I just got out of hospital and need the pain meds at least, she said She cant even read it bc this handwriting is terrible (arent all doctors?) we will still have to verify with the doctor. I think all she was worried about was getting out for her Saturday night..no stars for that soulless winch.

I went in looking for a specific item, but after searching all over the store I could not find it. One of the customer associates noticed me walking around the entire store and stopped and asked if I needed assistances. She found the product that wasnt on any of the shelves, due to a reset, and found me to give me the item. Its not a very large store, but the associates are very helpful and knowledgable. The girl that helped me was from the photography section--that shows cross-training!

I tried to vary up my shopping by giving Walgreens some of my business. However, it is very difficult to find help as they are usually understaffed. I understand that they probably cannot afford to pay a lot of extra employees, but because I felt like more of an annoyance than a valued customer I will not be going to this location if I can help it.

I love my local Walgreens. The only problem Ive ever had and it doesnt happen all the time. But when the line is long and it takes forever to check out.
