My experience at the auto zone on Perkins road was/is horrible. I buy an alternator from them, expecting it to be at the store like the website says. I purchase it and its not there. Im told it would be two hours before it gets here. Notice I said "here" because its been waay over two hours and Im still HERE. After I bought it and was told of the time frame, I found someone that could drive me to the location where the part was. This was about 5 minutes after I bought it. I was told I couldnt go and get it. I doubt very seriously that the part was off the shelf, on the truck, and en route in less than 5 minutes from ordering it. Its been almost three hours and Im still sitting in the parking lot waiting for a part I could have gotten myself and saved time and money. The parts manager is terrible, as well as the service here. Auto Zone has just lost my business.

If you need to get parts for your car, Auto Zone is a solid, reputable company. I buy things like motor oil and windshield wiper replacement. I have also purchased batteries. The better of their name batteries, comes with a 3+2 year warranty; free replacement in the first 3 years, prorated for the second 2 years. There are better batteries out there, but if you need quick, this works. Im also sure you can get alternators and ignition switches and the like, but Ive just never needed to do that, so I dont know how their prices compare. Ive had friendly interactions with my local Auto Zone store for years. Ive even given them my old motor oil to recycle. Whats not to like?

This is the place to go!! They were very courteous and professional! I had just been to Firestone on Florida where they tried to get me to spend way too much money AND go back for them to check my coolant next week! There "wasnt a tech there that could do that." REALLY. They guys at AutoZone changed my headlight bulb, AND added coolant and did NOT charge for labor. I got both done for $20.00 less than Firestone wanted to just change the headlight, and it only took about 15 minutes from start to finish. Awesome place. Highly recommended!!

Awful customer service. I recently bought a headlight bulb because mine had gone out. After installing the new one and the light did not come on I realized it was not the bulb but the housing. Tried to return the bulb and although didnt have original receipt I could show the store number proving it was that store I bought from on my bank statement. Store refused to return the item. I will never use this location again if this is how they treat customers.

Not sure of the ladys name who worked the night of 6/1, but she helped us a minute after closing to ensure that we picked the correct headlight and even came out to the car to show us, when it was time for her to close up and go home...thanks for going above and beyond!!

Service here is generally very good but today in particular it was. A woman by the name of Patricia L helped me save some money on my headlights. She was also fast and professional. Highly recommend.
