This store has issues with freshness and quality. Recently, I went there to get some ice cream. I bought some hawaiian salad from the deli as well. The ice cream was inedible. I ended up pitching the whole half gallon away. Ironically, the hawaiian salad, from the deli, was also inedible. It looked like cottage cheese, only the pieces were hard...it was not anything resembling hawaiian salad at that point. I heard that they replaced their refrigeration shortly before, so maybe this was the last of their stock, but they damn sure should have dumped it rather than trying to sell it to the public. I have also heard that meat purchased from there is often on the verge of being spoiled. This has been the case for years. They really need to watch their inventory a lot better, and get rid of it by discounting it well before the expiration dates.

I just read a review that was not complimentary, and would like to say that this store has improved, and I like shopping there. All of the employees are very helpful and personable. I forgot my purse in the shopping cart today, and some gentleman took it ( it was outside) to the front of the store, All of the employees were very nice and helpful... When I called to ask if I left my purse at the store they also made sure that the purse went to the correct owner, which I appreciated. I just re-read this, and when I left my purse in the shopping cart happened a few months ago. I am so thankful for honest people like that man. I wish I knew the name of the gentleman who returned the purse. Words cannot express my appreciation.
