Currently out of town for work. Noblesville, Indiana with a truck that broke down today. The battery/charging light came on half way down here. I knew that there were going to be issues and that I would at least need a new battery. Today, the truck had trouble starting after I stopped for a fuel up. There was an Advance auto parts across the street. I used to work for Advance and I knew that they had the tool to test both the battery and the alternator. I also knew that, when I worked there, the customer was most important. This one was an exemption. There was one guy up front, who told me that he was busy with another customer. Thats fine, hes doing something. The commercial parts pro was dealing with his customers and there were two other guys at the far end of the counter staring at a computer that took no interest in helping me until I stood there, basically waiting in line...there was no line. The guy that finally decided to help me was friendly. He sold the battery, got it off the battery rack, then asked if I wanted it installed. I had no tools with me at the time, anything I brought with me was at the job site, so yes please. He then told me to, "wait a minute," so he could find someone to do it. WHAT??? You sold it, you offered to install it, you do it. He ended up having to replace the battery. Great, except after the replacement the charging light is still on. I know this must mean the Alternator has failed, but the response from the "Team" at Advance Auto Parts in Noblesville, Indiana blew my mind! I went back in to the store, just to ask them to run a check of the alternator. The same guy that told me he was busy before, was "still" busy. The guy that replaced the battery was in the bathroom, that information came from the other guy staring at a computer screen. I would love to tell you an amazing customer service story, but every single employee in this store, on this day, was so apathetic toward customers. Now my truck is in the shop. Thanks guys.

Noblesville Advance Auto Parts workers are the classic, backwater, greasemonkey jackasses you see in the movies. They are lazy. They resent helping customers. One significant difference: the classic, backwater, grease monkey jackasses you see in the movies actually know something about cars. If any Noblesville Advance Auto Parts worker knows anything about anything, dont expect them to share it with you. Even a real, knuckle-dragging, poop-eating monkey can pick the correct replacement radiator for a 97 Corolla. ADVANCE AUTO PARTS WILL SELL YOU THE WRONG THINGS AND THEN RIP YOU OFF. IF YOU RETURN ANYTHING TO NOBLESVILLE ADVANCE AUTO PARTS, EVEN IF IT IS THEIR FAULT, THEY WILL SCREW YOU. PURCHASES ARE INSTANTLY WITHDRAWN FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. IF YOU RETURN ANYTHING--EVEN IF ITS THE SAME DAY AND EVEN IF IT IS THEIR FAULT--IT COULD TAKE OVER A WEEK TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK. Unemployment is at an all-time high, profit margins are razor thin and competition is feirce. There are several other well-stocked auto parts store in Noblesville that are run by proper Hoosiers who know that, even though common courtesy and simple decency are dead and gone in other parts of America, they are still very much alive and well in Indiana. I cant imagine Advance Auto Parts will be able to stay in business much longer. Good riddance! And, hey, boys, good luck finding new jobs! Im sure those bright, cheerful faces will go a long way toward your continued career development.

Anthony and Levi was very helpful and knowledgeable they tried to figure out my issue I highly recommend to go there and ask for either one of them. That is the only auto parts place I ever plan on going to while I am still living in this area.

The man who helped me was incredibly nice and helpful. He gave me detailed instructions on how to replace my power steering on my civic and even offered to help me install it for free. I am definetly coming back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
