- I was looking for a flower company that could create a gorgeous bouquet that was a little outside the box. I looked at a ton of sites, and of course all the flowers looked pretty, but George Thomas caught my eye. I interviewed 3 different florists, and I really liked the way Mel, the wedding coordinator, talked through everything with me. I had created this cut-paste bouquet in Word and a bunch of pinned pictures of flowers, and from that she went through flower options, plan Bs (in case she was unable to get certain ones), and reception extras. When comparing my initial cut-paste picture to my final bouquet, they look SO similar except, of course, the final bouquet was WAY better. I really wanted an organic, looser, romantic feel to my bouquet, and she absolutely created exactly what I wanted! We had pretty simple center pieces involving submerged roses which they put together beautifully. Mel was easily reached via email and touched base with me the day prior to the wedding to coordinate pick-up. One of the best parts of this florist was how amazingly AFFORDABLE they were! I initially looked into a DIY florist for that reason, and George Thomas ended up being on par with them! When I picked up all our flowers from the venue 2 days after the wedding, they still looked stunning! Very happy with this florist and definitely recommend them for their quality, price, and customer service!

AMAZING!!! I described my taste and what I wanted for my August wedding and the budget I needed to be within and Melissa at George Thomas was able to create the perfect arrangements. THe flowers turned out to be incredible- better than I could have imagined!! I received so many compliments. Melissa also went extra steps to make sure that everything was handled at the wedding. I didnt have to do anything from putting flowers on the cake, all of the menus, setting up the flower girls baskets. I saw her in the backgrounds as I was leaving for the night and she was still there working to make sure we got everything out of the museum. Our arrangements were so well liked that two of my friends copied them for their weddings. I HIGHLY recommend them and will use them for future events.

I have used George Thomas Florist for several years for everything from special gift baskets to fresh cut flowers, live plants, etc... they have always gone out of their way to ensure the quality of each order was PERFECT prior to sending (based on the feedback I have received from the recipients). I recently received one of the most beautiful fresh cut flower arrangements I can ever remember receiving (from any florist) from George Thomas Florist. I was amazed at how beautiful, healthy and the length of time they stayed fresh. I ordered a "Beautiful In Blue" and a small box of Chocolates set for my wife to surprise her at work. I purchased them on Friday and had them delivered today ( Monday). From the initial website layout, to the ordering process, and reciepts the entire process was smooth and reassuring. My wife was absolutely thrilled and said the flowers were gorgeous and the chocolate were to die for. So, dont waste your time using those "big name" companies that will end up letting you down, just use your local florist and keep business within your cities! I cant wait to use them again for any other special occasions!!!

For many years, being in the military, I was a die-hard 1-800 Flowers fan. However, two years ago I really had a bad experience and swore never to go back. They would not even offer me a credit or another product. After that I said no more, and now I truly believe in supporting my local florist (Please Support Your Local Florist). The service has been excellent, and if something is not to my satisfaction they will make it right! My many thanks go out to the George Thomas Florists for an outstanding job…

George Thomas Florist did an amazing job arranging the florals for my wedding. They even traveled and delivered the florals on a Sunday (when they were closed) - complete set up and everything. George Thomas Florist made it so easy to send gorgeous, fresh flowers from long distance! The website is easy to navigate, and the flower arrangements are in a reasonable price range with beautiful arrangements. I placed an order late Friday afternoon for a Saturday delivery, and the order was delivered in less than 24 hours! The recipient said the flowers were beautiful and so aromatic that he could smell them throughout the house. I highly recommend this florist!

I sent flowers to my dad in the hospital from George Thomas. Their website was very easy to navigate and organized. I called and ordered over the phone. There was no delivery charge because they were so close to the hospital. They created the order and delivered it to the hospital very quickly and my family was elated and said they were gorgeous. A class act. Would definitely do business with them again! Thank you for brightening my dads stay while in the hospital!

Far and away, the best florist in town. Recently for my wedding anniversary I called them and requested an arrangement that would be affordable, but "head turning". A few hours later my wife called me and said I had made several admirers in the office as the arrangement that arrived was probably the most beautiful she had ever received. AND, their Friday afternoon and Saturday half price happy hours are the best deal in the city.

I ordered the Love and Laughter w/silver vase (they didnt have the purple one like in the picture) but the one that was delivered looked nothing like the picture (not full!!). Ive heard of this happening but I was hopeful I would get what I wanted. I even called to ask will it look like the picture and I was told yes. The lady did waive delivery (I appreciated) because the purple vase was unavailable, and I spent $60!!!

I have ordered flowers both online and via phone, local and out of town deliveries and have never been disappointed. Many times I have given them a general idea of what I wanted but I didnt really know how to explain it. I left it up to them to design it for me and its like they were reading my mind. Their customer service is the best, every arrangement has been beautifully done and the flowers last a long time.

I wanted to say Thank you for delivering flowers to my stepmom for her birthday. The flowers were beautiful and they lasted at least 2 weeks. What I was even more impressed with, was receiving a hand written thank you note for my order. I cant say I have ever received a thank you note for being a customer.
