I just want to say thank you for keeping my stuff safe, also for the impeccable service and professionalism usually not found in many of the more mainstream businesses that I have had the privilege of venturing into. Believe it or not, I was referred to Highland Jewelry and Loan by other pawnshops. In fact, if I happen to be in the market for occaisional odd items, gold, silver, diamonds, gemstones or whatever I might be looking for these people have it. Unlike many other places it family owned, operated, and family friendly. My experiences have felt so good and overwhelmingly safe that I really do not know how to thank Highland Jewelry and Loan except to say thank you over and over again by keep bringing in business. I once was so happy with the service, I donated money to charity in their name. I would also like to say that when you are in Highland Jewelry and Loan you cant help but notice the great smiles that come with the service. It has to be something that runs in the family, I swear I would go there when I am having a bad day just to see someone smile. The education, experience, and attention to detail on jewelry items alone are the best kept secret in the area, and have the potential to move mountains. I come here quite often and have been given decent service by the lady who works there and have a good relationship wIth the owner. My experience with them today was so bad I cannot even put it into words. The guy with the long weird tale beard was questioning me how I am getting gift cards and implying that I am a low life stealing drug addict. Number one ito none of his business where I get them which I explained which should have been extremely enough and I shouldnt have had to either. Number 2 he then said well why cant these people give you cash. This is none of his damn business. You know I am out of a job right now and sometimes you need money. Is that a crime? I dont think so. I then said politely you know Im offended and your implying Im stealing or whatever. He then took the gift cards and threw them in my face!!!! I was in shock and asked to speak to the owner and he wouldnt call them. He was completely disrespectful and degrading. I then went to hammond super pawn the best place to go to and he could not even believe how they did business. Do not go here. I will b3 calling owner tomorrow and maybe he will make it right but if not I will put this place on blast on every website and google review.

I purchased 2 Laptops, over two years ago, and they are still working, perfectly fine. With that being said, everybody should stop by and show them some love. Just left. Offered me a 300 dollar loan on a diamond ring that retails for 6000 and I had the paper work for it. Hahaha. I mean its your business to operate how you want but wow that was insulting. Safe to say I walked and am happy to keep it on my finger. I can come up with 300 bucks on my own. On the bright side. They were very nice lol crazy part is my dad recommended them. He got over 1000 dollar loan on a ring that cost less than mine!

I highly recommend coming to sell your gold here. A couple of weeks ago I wanted to sell the jewelry that I just dont wear anymore. Since Im new to the area I went to a couple of different places but this place won. They quoted me the highest and were the nicest. Other places just didnt seem to care about their customer, but about getting my jewelry for cheap. I will definitely be back here.

Absolutly the worst pawn shop in nwi they dont wana buy anything you bring in if they cant find it on ebay ill never recommend them to anyone and they lowball like never before dont sell gold there either they dont go by the actual prices of precious metals if its not on ebay they wont buy so your better off selling it on ebay

The people who work here are very accommodating and will go out of their way to help you. Im used to the brash and impersonal nature of Chicago pawn shops. Its nice to get loans from a place that doesnt make me feel unwelcome and always gives me the most money for my watch.
