I understand that all grocery stores are bad at this, but the management here is clearly awful at hiring and managing employees. Every single time Im there I spend a vast majority of my time in one of the 3 open lanes whose lines are backed up into the clothes. Today I spent 23 minutes (not an exaggeration) in a line with 2 bottles of alcohol before the lady at the register reminded me its Sunday and I couldnt buy them. I understand ultimately its my fault, but it was 5 in the afternoon, no one had closed off the alcohol isle like youre supposed too, 2 employees even walked pasted me while I was in the alcohol isle with bottles in my hand and didnt say a thing, and the checkout person waited until it was my turn to check out to tell me, even though I know she clearly saw what I was trying to buy several times before it was my turn. Id say it was a frustrating trip but its what I now expect from this Meijer.

This Meijers has extremely poor service. Time after time the lack the appropriate number of staff to provide a acceptable wait time to check out. While I appreciate their lower prices the wait in lines (often between 15-20 minutes) are unacceptable. I am now shopping at Martins. While their prices maybe higher, the experience upon checking out is so much quicker and friendlier. I will gladly pay a little more for better quality in my shopping experience.

NEVER GOING BACK TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THE BAKERY. WENT IN TO GET CUSTOM CAKE MADE FOR MY DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY. CAME IN ON THE DAY OF THE BIRTHDAY AND IT WAS NOT EVEN THE CAKE WE AGREED THEY COULD MAKE. IT WAS SOME PRE-MADE UGLY CAKE. VERY UPSET WITH HAVING THEM RUIN A LITE GIRLS BIRTHDAY....THEY DIDNT EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR GETTING IT WRONG THEY SHRUGGED AND WALKED OFF.

This is the primary grocery I use. Great prices overall and offer weekly specials available to all customers (although if you LIKE joining a club they have a card you can apply to get even more discounts). Only reason I docked a star is that they dont always restock items they have run out of quickly, though they DO generally offer rain checks.

I get really frustrated when we go on a Saturday or Sunday morning and the shelves are not stocked and the stuff to be stocked is in the middle of the aisle. The prior weeks stuff that was on sale was still being taken down across from the meat. It seems like this store is always in disarray, and not because of the remodel.

For the most part its a great place to shop. But for about a year now the shelves or sale items are poorly stocked. They need to hire more help. This store use to be greatly stocked and was always easy to find help. I have shopped here faithfully for 19 years. And the store is becoming Walmart-ish!

Great Prices & Good Sales. Offers Mperks rewards program. Its clean and they are currently remodeling. They often have LONG lines on weekends...grrr. They have fresh produce and offer a wide variety of items...one-stop shopping! Dont forget to let the kiddos take a 1 cent ride on the pony!

I personally like this meijer because during the night there is next to no people. I grocery shop after midnight, so this is good. Mperks is also extremely helpful. My only complaint is that during the day not enough register lines are open; really frustrating during the day.

Meat Dept is ridiculous! Who cuts the core of a steak & cover it with the label?! This isnt the 1st time! Ive gotten home with $25 roasts & the middle is nothing but FAT covered my the label.... Im done buying from here & will go to the NEW WAL-MART!

The bakery department are the most caring people around. Their cakes are the best and always just what you ask for, even if you call at the last minute and need a full sheet in four hours. Thank you Meijer bakery team for a wonderful experience.

Well stocked grocery store with helpful and pleasant employees. I highly recommend using their app/m perks program for additional discounts. They offer thing like $10 off any purchase $50 or more. Well who doesnt already spend that on groceries?

Great selection of products and groceries. Good number of organic items. Fresh produce- in 11 years Ive only had one bad produce purchase. Great prices especially if you shop sales and use mperks (digital coupons).

Alway very long waits in line 25 minutes just to check out. Only 4 in line. However less expensive than most place. That is why we keep coming back. As soon as budget gets better we are going some place else.

Love shopping there. Vegetables and fruits are always fresh. Just wish they carried Big and Tall mens clothes . I dont like having to go across town to K-Mart. Cant even buy underwear for my husband there.

I love meijers! The produce section is always iffy (quality of produce will either be wonderful or not and the shelves will either be full or completely empty) but other then that this is our go to.

My favorite thing about this Meijer is the music. The prices on food are better than Walmart, but non food items are more expensive. But they offer more products than any other store in this area.

Slow service. I waited 40 minutes to be checked out because they only had 4 lines open. And I got to watch 2 employees dusting instead of opening extra lanes to get customers moving.

The remodel is looking great. The new self checkouts are very difficult to operate. The one I used always needed an override because the scale didnt register anything in my bag.

Meijer is currently doing some remodeling but it is still easy to get around. They probably wanted a face lift because of the new super Walmart down the street.

Highly dislike renovation. Dark dingy grocery shopping area and Walmart style layout of other products. May need to change to a more cheerful shopping store.

More expensive then walmart but better quality items and less chaos in store. More variety as well in a lot of items and the meat section is way better!
