The checkout experience at this Kroger Marketplace seems to be a mixed bag. While some customers appreciate the quick checkout process, others have pointed out that the store often lacks enough staff at the registers, especially after 9 PM. Self-checkout is available, but it can be inconvenient for those with large shopping carts.
The deli counter has received both praise and criticism. While some customers appreciate the variety, others have had negative experiences with the staff's attitude and service.
The store is generally well-stocked, especially in the produce section. However, some customers have mentioned that the store tends to run out of specific items, causing inconvenience.
The store operates from 6 AM to 12 AM every day, providing flexibility for shoppers with different schedules.
Customers have mixed opinions about the pricing. While some find the prices to be fair and competitive, especially for produce, others consider certain items like meat to be on the expensive side.
The store frequently offers sales and discounts, particularly in the meat section. However, some customers have noted that sale items sometimes don't ring up correctly at the register.
The store offers a wide range of products, from groceries to clothing. It even has a small liquor store within the premises. The store's housewares section is also noted for having items that one might otherwise go to Target for.
One unique feature that stands out is the availability of kiddie carts, which are small carts that children can push. This feature has been particularly popular among parents shopping with young children.
The staff's friendliness and helpfulness are generally appreciated, but there have been instances where customers found the staff to be less attentive or even rude.
While the store is usually busy, some customers feel that the staff are more focused on socializing with each other rather than assisting customers.
Parking appears to be a significant issue at this location. Customers have complained about cramped spaces and poor layout, which often leads to confusion and inconvenience.
The store layout has received mixed reviews. While some find it easy to navigate, others find it confusing, especially when comparing it to other Kroger locations.

This is hands down one of the best grocery stores in southern Indiana and definitely the best Kroger Ive ever been to. The options here are almost endless. After shopping at the Old Kroger location many times, the new location blows it out of the water. The first thing I noticed walking in was the Starbucks and the bistro that serves: fresh sushi, pan-Asian, bbq, street tacos, and of course fried chicken. Theres a dining area with free wifi to accommodate you while stopping in. Beyond the bistro is the bakery, which offers ridiculously good looking cakes and pies. Adjacent to the bakery is a gourmet cheese deli. At the end of the market is the meat and seafood market, where you can even find octopus sometimes. The fresh produce section offers every local variety of produce and other fruits and veggies you cant find anywhere here, like starfruit and dragon fruit. Theres even a bulk food section that has beans, granola, quinoa, coffee, and much more. The alcohol section here is something that would win over many of my friends. Theres a ridiculous amount of choices both in wines, liqour, main stream beer, and craft beer. Im not much of a drinker, but with a alcohol department like the one here... I could be! Much of the rest of the Kroger is generally what you would expect. However, the ethnic food aisle here is very multicultural including many Asian varieties, Latin, and Indian groceries. On top of this there is a clothing department that sells brands such as Carhartt and Champion. Beyond that theres even a toy department and a very extensive beauty department. Hands down this is my favorite grocery store that Ive seen and Im glad its in Columbus.

I went to the new store today... It is loud and confusing. My son needed to use the restroom, so we found them and waited on the "Unisex" bathroom so we could both go without worrying about him. A male employee walked out and we went in. It was so nasty my son instantly wanted to leave. I convinced him to just go and be done with it. There is no trash can low enough for a child to see except the "sanitary napkin disposal". So obviously he needed his hands washed again, but beware the feces on the soap dispenser. Either their employees do not care about the customers, he should have said this one is in need of cleaning I will get someone... Or he did not know how to wipe himself and was embarrassed. Asked to speak to a manager, but it was so chaotic up front I left and was going to call them later, but NO this lady chased me out to my car and harassed me at my car window while I was trying to leave. I have anxiety issues and by this time I was freaking out..... Finally I tell her there was feces everywhere and she let me leave but it didnt matter, the image of my son burying his hand in that nasty metal box, and then being stalked and harassed by the front lady, I will not be back. I shopped at Kroger since my mom took me when i was my sons age, but this new monument to consumerism was a waste of time and money. I bet in the long term their sales are bad compared to the old store. Would have been cheaper to run off customers at the old building so you didnt need the new one smh

Nice store, trying to learn it and hope they dont change it in the next few years so we can get what we need and get out. I know, its not what Kroger wants to hear, but they just need to know that loyalty is key, and yes, reduced gas prices are cool. More coupons would be even more cool! As a side note, we like the bulk bins, and found out late this eve that someone had put chocolate covered raisins in the chocolate covered peanuts bin. We dug in for our ritualistic Saturday late-night snack, and were surprised. No biggie...

I ate in the cafeteria area of Kroger, which I believe is an untapped great eating option. I got the sushi, which I may say was pretty good! The staff were all accommodating, helpful and very nice, even offering free tea before they had to dump it out for the end of the night (anything free is a plus in my book). Have been going to Kroger all my life, and I absolutely love the new and improved one in our town. Overall great experience!

Honestly, as far as Ive heard, Kroger treats its employees well and that shows in the service they provide me the customer. That is specifically why I dont shop Wal-Mart unless Kroger doesnt have what I need. And that brings me to the only issue I have with Kroger: its a "superstore" but doesnt carry much outside of groceries and what they do have is rediculously overpriced. (Houseware, kitchenware ect.)

It is the largest grocery store in town with the widest selection by far. For a brand new store it is average at best due to the large crowds, long waits at checkout and VERY NARROW shopping isles! Two people cannot pass in any isle that are packed with side displays which leaves that spot one cart wide. For less hassle go really early in the morning or late at night.

The new Kroger store is the best grocery store in Columbus, hands down. Its kinda super Kroger. Almost triple the size of previous one. Aisles are spacious, lots of organic fresh produce. Lots of counter which keeps the check out in control. The meat and fish section is way better than the previous. Their ethnic stuffs aisle is a real step up.

This Kroger is brand new, and has all the supplies a normal Kroger would plus so much more. Theres a full clothes and shoes section, plus a number of toy and game aisles. Starbucks inside, large floral selection, great beer and wine variety. Prices on everything are great, especially with a Kroger card. I cant give it enough praise!

I feel that this is one of the best grocery stores in town. They always have great prices and stock some of the more difficult things to find that you might not find at other stores. Im anxious to see the new Krogers thats opening in a few weeks. I hope they maintain the product selection and customer service.

This is a very clean Kroger with a large area to eat inside or outside. They have a large selection of groceries, non-food items, ready-made foods and a Starbucks in the store. They also have Boars Head deli meats! Plus they have a gas station, which is convenient! I would definitely recommend this store! *****

As much as I hate supporting big food corporations, i do not feel to bad about doing some of my shopping at this Kroger. It is very convenient, the employees are helpful and they have a large organic section. They also recycle plastic bags. It seems that they are really trying to make good food available.
