No, it isnt perfect but no store is. This store has made a big difference in our budget and our standard of living. We made the switch when the prices of gas and groceries shot up. And have never looked back. So many Walmarts in the area (regular not super) are dingy and dirty. This store is clean, well-lit and well-stocked most of the time. Ive never gotten anything that is old or moldy or undercooked...and Im pretty picky. The crowd that goes there is diverse in race, nationality, socioeconimical status. This is a plus in my book. I feel like a part of the community when i go here. People are friendly and/or mind their own business. The downside is that the wait in the checkout lines is soooo long. That coupled with the fact that the store is so huge means it always a long and tiring trip. With the 15 minute drive, grocery trips can easily take 2-3 hours. That may seem long but the time to check out is often an hour. To be fair that includes a checking out a very full cart (I only shop about once a month). Still what used to take about an hour-hour and a half at Jewel takes two and half-three hours at Super Walmart. I just read what others wrote about the Antioch store. Given that they may have shorter lines and friendlier staff, Im going to try it next week.

I went to that walmart on Friday before Easter. I like to eat beef jerkys and I usually just grab, pay and eat. Well, thank God this time I looked before even buying. The whole box of beef jerky with cheese was GREEN WITH MOLD and guess what, I brought it to the check out lady, asked her to dispose of it and maybe check the rest. i went back on Monday to return something, and just out of curiosity walked by the same isle where I found this rotten beef jerky. IT was still on the shelf. I brought it to the store manager (young Indian lady) and she said she would definitely have it all removed, and promised to call me to confirm. NEVER called me. And I am not going back to check. I was nauseas for days and I will NEVER eat beef jerky again (not that I need to) But i am simply turned off completely. And its not the first time. The one time I bought their rotisserie chicken, took it home for dinner, cut into it and it was bleeding all over. I took it right back and got my refund. This is really disgusting. Dont sell food if you can not keep it fresh or cooked all the way. For all the money walmart makes, its a shame that they can skimp on food.

I feel like this Walmart is highly understaffed. EVERYTIME Ive used the photo center they make me wait atleast 15+ minutes for somebody to come and help me. Coinsidentally everytime I come here (wether its at different times) the person running the photo center is always "out" or "on break". Also, when you ask someone for help they have no idea how to help you. They always have to call their manager and that also takes years for them to come. One time, I literally waited half an hour just so somebody could get the key to get me a spray paint bottle. Horrible experience.

Encountered a cashier using a lot of profanity during a conversation she was having with an unknown male while checking out. Very ghetto and unprofessional!
