After having a horrible experience with the florist Designs By Diedrich II, I went back to Google and searched for another florist in Joliet. I called the Petal Shoppe and spoke with Nikki. She was so polite and helpful. Today is Valentines Day, and yes, I do realize that its a very busy day in the florist world. I called today for Sympathy flowers for tomorrow and Saturday. Nikki took the time to make sure they had the flowers for the arrangement I wanted to order and assured me that they would be at the funeral home in plenty of time. She also told me that the world doesnt stop on Valentines Day, there are other important events in peoples lives. I wish I could say the same for the other florist I called, but they were nothing but ignorant and rude. They cut me off before I could even explain why I was calling by telling me that all they could offer me was roses. I told the lady I didnt want Valentines flowers and after listening to her carry on, I had enough and ended the call. I ordered the spray from The Petal Shoppe and want to thank Nikki for being so polite, helpful and going the extra mile to make my experience a better one for such a sad event. Ill definitely order from this shop again!

They are getting ready for a BIG move and recently my mom had surgery so things have been a little tough for them and I wanted to BRIGHTEN their day. Very pleasant over the phone. Beautiful flowers. Only issue: Did not receive a receipt in a timely manner (ordered over the phone from a business). Waiting 6 days for a receipt to be faxed when it was needed that day. They said they had been very busy, but will send. Still have not received it. First time using The Petal Shoppe.
