My go-to place for everything including eye liner. -1 star because all cashier lanes are empty and you are left with the self checkout lanes (which I hate). -1 more star because they have the customer service desk lady going back and fourth trying to do two jobs at once (self checkout assisting and customer service desk) wich leaves every one at the check out waiting forever for some help while she handles a complaining customer on the other side. Jewel-Osco needs to hire more staff. You cant have her in two places at once! and you definately cant have all the cashier lanes empty.

I was going to buy some chicken or deep fried fast food by the pastries and veggies. And me and my companion where patiently waiting our chance to get served since the women in front of us was getting dealt with. After she left, 4 times we the old woman behind the counter saw us and did not ask us if we needed anything. And she was pretending to do something in the back. Maybe because of my ethnic race? Will never be coming back. By the way It was terrible service. Rather stick to the further jewel osco in Elgin.

Its a typical Jewel-Osco, not much to say. I usually come here for red box dvd rentals, and if Im nearby and need something asap; otherwise, I avoid coming here because items are usually overpriced. I needed dog food and it was late, so I came here and what a hike in prices compared to PetSmart! So I was curious and browsed other items I needed (toothpaste and deodorant) and yep, also more expensive than Target. If you dont mind spending extra for the same items you could get elsewhere this is the place to do it!

WORST deli staff ever! There will be 8 people behind the counter, I stood there for 10 minutes just staring at them, waiting for someone to ask if they could help me....NOTHING! I finally asked for help, they continued their personal conversation before asking me what I even wanted. Less expensive for the same product at Vallies plus.... REAL customer service. Lucky I am not their boss. I would fire everyone of them.

Very convenient to our hotel. When travelling on business sometimes its nice to just be as to go to the grocery and have regular food in your hotel. This was 7 mins from where we are staying and had some things I had been looking for at Wal-Mart and they didnt even carry them. Way to go Jewel- Osco for having a bigger selection. At least for carrying what it is that I wanted to have. Loved it. Thank you!!

I only go here for emergencies. The produce isnt fresh and outrageously priced for its quality. I got very sick from the deli chicken salad I bought same day (was in the hospital). I go there for spices, frozen food, chips, milk and cookies (so healthy right?) But thats what the coupon app is for. Bottom line I go elsewhere for all raw and fresh produce.

This Jewel has the nicest people working there. They know where everything is and help out a lot with customers. I saw them bend over backwards to help a little old lady do her shopping. Its refreshing to see people who actually want to help you as apposed to people who have to help you.

Great place, 4 stars because no matter how busy it is, its impossible to navigate to the produce section. Poorly designed shelving set up and very crammed through deli area. Otherwise, excellent store.

They have a good variety of fresh fruits and veggies. Never enough checkouts open and often need to bag your own groceries if you need to get going. Nice selection and good bakery.
