After calling to get find out what they were paying for a specific gold coin, I was told they start pricing at the spot price of gold and then go down, depending on condition. When I brought the coin in, a 1 oz krugerrand, the man Id talked to on the phone claimed it was only 90% gold in the ounce (its not, there is one ounce of gold in a krugerrand), and then another guy called someone to ask how much theyd pay. The "maximum" price he ended up offering me was $42 under the spot price - totally ridiculous when other dealers are paying anywhere from spot to spot minus $25, within a few miles. A total waste of my time and, when I told them that they need to tell people on the phone what they are paying, I was told that it would just encourage people to "shop around." Yeah... no kidding! It is the right of the customer to try to get the best price. They need to educate their entire staff about how the buying and selling of gold coins works in the rest of the world/country/town!

From what I have felt I experienced doing business with William H I found it fair for the most part. Probably one of the most honest and accomodating " Sell Your Gold, Silver, Best Prices Paid". I found this true for the most part. As to customer relations, very cordial yet personable, sincere, and genuinely considerate. I believe they know of what they speak with regards to antiques, jewelry, watches, precious stones, et. al. I plan to use the appraisal service in the near future.
