I went in and found the Funko Pops that a friend of mine wanted for his sons birthday. Keep in mind this is my first time shopping there. The cashier (Patrick) wanted to sign me up for the membership card which I wouldve paid $25 for it, and said I could pay $30 instead of $50 for the toys. But I still wouldve paid the extra $25 for the card, so I wouldnt have saved any money at all. I never shopped there before and my family and I dont live around that area, (again, first time) so I refused and said, "this is only a last minute shopping." He still didnt listen and wanted me to wait outside at the food court so he can sign me up or if i can come back the next day and at that point I was getting irritated. He said, "trust me Ive had a lot of people tell me theyll be coming back and they never do." He kept trying to force me to sign up and after 10 mins of talking back and forth I finally told him, "Im just not interested. Sorry. I dont want to sign up. I just want to pay for these already." This is what he said to me with a patronizing attitude, "oh, well okay. Thatll be $54, and not $34. Since you didnt wanna sign up. I mean, you have the money, right? You probably make lots of money and like to spend it". I didnt respond. Just grabbed my bag and left. He said this in front of the other customers and i was pissed. Well they lost themselves a customer and Im never shopping there again.

I love Books A Million. I go there everytime I go to Chicago ridge mall. And Im always finding the book Im looking for, or a book that I would like to read. The Employees are very very nice and helpful.
