Great product sold with great customer service from Henry. Definitely worth the price! My old New Balance shoes finally were too worn to wear while running, so I needed a new pair of running shoes. First I went to a different shoe store because it was right by where i work. That place had big screen TVs, pro athletes endorsing the shoe, a little golf putting course, etc etc. But you know what it didnt have? Good shoes. I bought one pair and my feet hurt within a few days. Went back and tried a second pair. I got a blister from just walking in them within an hour. At least I got a full refund. When I realized there was a New Balance just down Clark street, I headed over. The first pair I tried blew the other brand out of the water, no contest. I tried a few more to find an even better pair for me and every one I tried was better than the other brand. And not only were the shoes perfect, Henry was very knowledgeable about the shoes. He listened to my feedback and explained the various pros/cons of each shoe I tried. He even put the shoes on for me. I will never waste my time at another store again. And Id say the most telling fact is that I walked out of there wearing my old shoes because theyre still very comfortable for walking. Thanks again, Henry & New Balance!

Such a friendly staff! From the moment I walked in, until the moment I left, I felt very welcome and comfortable in this store. I was immediately greeted by one employee, whos name I sadly did not get. He told me to ask for help if I needed it. And when I did, he immediately helped! I knew specifically which shoe I wanted, and he checked availability for me. When he saw they didnt have the 574 in black in my size, he told me all of the other options for getting the shoe. I decided to order the shoe through the store to be shipped to my home instead. He even gave me a different color in my size to make sure the shoe fit right! After that, he processed my order in a very helpful and friendly manner. After I was done in the store, he was very polite and wished me a happy day. This is surely the best customer service I have EVER received in any shoe store, I only wish I had gotten the Employees name to mention him, as he well deserved it. I work retail myself, so I understand what it feels like to work a shift at a retail store where customers can be very rude. So considering I still received amazing customer service, I will be very happy to come back to this store, and I recommend it to anybody else searching for new balance shoes.

Whenever I go here, their knowledge of product and personal commitment to put your feet in something that really fits and supports wins me over. I have issues which make it difficult to find shoes that I can wear without pain, but these guys measure and fit you, and as in my case, suggested different insoles...and guess what, I never reach for my bargain shoes, Im always reaching for the New Balance perfectly fitted shoes I bought here. Everyone is really nice and informed. And I even took my father and husband here for Fathers Day and had them measured and fitted for shoes. They resisted because they werent bargain priced, but they wear them all the time. I hope this NB concept store stays in Chicago. Love it.

I worked with Rob and he was able to get me into a few different types of shoes. Coming off an ankle injury, I have had to wear the 1540s for quite some time for their great stability and anti roll design. We worked with Rob for well over 2 hours, he was very knowledgeable and had a great attitude and energy about him. I ended up returning one of the pairs within their 30 day time. The return was no problem - no negative issues and was quite pleasant. They have a great team at this store that truly care about which shoes fit you best versus pushing the most expensive fit onto your foot.

They have shoes in widths and plenty of durable well-made models, including my savior shoe, the 1540v2 size 12EE. Although I can buy online to save a buck or two, I still sometimes like coming into the store to see whats new. I heart Ryan. Oh, and until the day robots make everything, if buying American or supporting anything close to living wage manufacturing is important to you, contrary to other reviews, NB is the the *only* sport shoe company making models in the US. Brooks, nope, sorry.

Henry helped us immensely, he went above and beyond to help my girlfriend find the right shoe for herself. He let my girlfriend try on many shoes, he was very patient. Once we found a pair of shoes we asked for a dinner recommendation and he gave us a few options plus addresses and a map. Not only was Henry great but there were other staff members helping customers this way as well. Best shoe buying experience! Thank you Henry, staff and New Balance Chicago.

These guys have been helping me with shoes for years, even with shoes that I didnt buy from them. The staff is always energetic and on their toes, ready to help you as soon as you walk into the store. They even put the shoe on your foot and tie it for you! Bonus. Finally, new balance is made in the USA. You simply cannot go wrong here.

All I can say is that I had a fantastic experience when I went in today to get a pair of running shoes. Not sure if his name is Jay or J, but he delivered top-notch service today. I work in retail so I know firsthand when service is top-notch. Awesome employee. Plus its an American company, what more can I ask for? Highly recommended.

Fantastic Service. They spend a lot of time getting the right shoe needed for your situation. I have problem feet from childhood and Liz took the time to understand and came up with a great combination for me. Highly recommend. Other shoe stores try but none has come up to the service of this store.

I have been buying shoes at New Balance on north Clark for three years. I wont go any where else. They dont just sell you a pair of shoes but they access your feet and provide you with a shoe that fits. That is very important to me. The staff is always great and you are treated very kindly

Staff is extremely helpful. And are very knowledgeable. Spent a lot of time trying to help me find the right shoe (last minute) and it didnt work out but left with a really positive experience. And hope to be back to actually purchase something next time.
