"VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER" I was in the store on Saturday Jan 20,2012 my son and I came across a jacket on the rack in the clothes department. My 16 year old son liked the jacket and decided that he wanted to purchase it. We got to the check out to purchase the jacket when the cashier took the jacket to the back of the office and returned briefly with a price difference from $9.99 to $100.00,I was surprised at the mark up;I requested the manager. She stated to me that it was a fairly new jacket and the price of the jacket should be higher and that it was their mistake. I offered to pay a little more for the jacket, but not a 90% mark up. All of GoodWills merchandise are donations, non -taxable for the company, and also 100% profit for GoodWill. At retail stores when there is a mistake with the pricing they honor the pricing thats advertised. Unfortunately GoodWill did not want to honor nor meet a happy medium, the disappointment was a result in losing customers. I have shared this story with many. The biggest disappointment of all , is that my family donated two truck loads of contents due to losing a home in a foreclosure. GoodWill must not forget what their in bussiness for, which is to appreciate their donations and to assist those who may need and help for those that have fallen on hard times. Shame on you Managers you know who you are. God Bless! A VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER!

This is one of the better thrift stores in Chicago. I often pop in here on my lunch break to scope out all the treasures and have been super lucky in finding really great stuff! Everything from clothes, books/cds/dvds, housewares, shoes/purses/jewelry, kids stuff, games, anything you can imagine. Ive found clothes and purses in great condition. Some antique dish ware, fun holiday decorations, art supplies, first edition (and current best sellers) books, old movies, and some pretty rad CDs. Hello, that Cool Runnings DVD? You bet I scooped that right up! They get new merchandise in every day, so theres always news stuff. The prices are reasonable and they have a rewards program where after you spend so much you get a $5 gift coupon off your next purchase! Street parking only, and they accept credit cards cuz it IS 2015.

Surely one of my favorite places to do well. We donate tons of stuff to Goodwill, annually, knowing that it will help provide employment for some people and quality merchandise for others who cant afford expensive stuff. The staff are friendly and will often come outside to help you unload donations. On the inside, you are more or less left to yourself, until youre ready to check out. Usually lots of customers moving through the rows of clothes, books, and other items, including shoes. Street parking nearby can be a bit tight, though it is free. You may need to walk a bit to get back to the store.

The best thing about Goodwill is that all clothing is sorted by color and size so it is easy to look for a specific thing (like when I needed a pair of black slacks for work). There are dressing rooms, and the clothes I find there are all in good condition and are good brands. The staff is very helpful. Once I found a pea coat with missing buttons so they gave me 50% off their original price. On Sunday one color tag is 50% off. Even without the discount, the prices are great and let have an occasional shopping spree without spending too much.

This is a good place for donations and second hand merchandise. The drop off facility has parking for loading and unloading in front, the staff will come out with a crat to load your donations, dont forget to get a receipt. The selection at this location is large, as it is a drop of location and this alone makes the inventory full and changing daily. I found a few household items at this location for a good price.

I love this goodwill too! I do not live in Chicago, but this is one of the places I always hit when I travel in. The only problem is...I started shopping there when they first opened and not to many people knew about this location then. But, I have noticed that the last few trips in this store has become really crowded. Oh well....Such as life...Happy Thrifting Everyone!!! King

Good selection here. Ive found a few really cool DVDs. The furniture is insanely inexpensive. The store is clean, as are the clothes and shoes that Ive looked at. Good selection of books and household wares. Great staff. I love this Goodwill, I always find something cool to buy when I stop in and I love their prices. Keep up the good work.

Terrible selection, employees not helpful and I witnessed the manager being terribly rude to an older gentleman. Not a goodwill I intend to visit again. There are too many goodwill stores that are helpful and friendly to support those who are not. Avoid this location at all costs if you want a pleasant experience and good selection.

Goodwill is always a lot of fun. To shop at this Goodwill location you better make a great "The Price Is Right" contestant, because the prices are so high sometimes I actually dont purchase the item because it is either cheaper or the same price as buying new. The location does however attract a variety of nice merchandise at times.

This is a pretty good thrift store when compared to most others. Its pretty well organized, and has some good finds. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is that it is often pretty unorganized in the home and electronics sections. Who wants to buy a DVD player that looks like it was literally thrown on a pile of other electronics?

I have been to several Goodwill stores. This store has the best selection thus far. I have not tried the stores in Naperville, Arlington Heights, and Barlett. However to me Goodwill Stores are better than the Thrift Stores they are really high price. Plus there products are old and not taken care of. This is just my opinion.

We got a damn near new, down filled couch... For TWENTY dollars!! We biked there that day and still found a way to get this steal of a find home! Store is organized well, clean, has dressing rooms, higher end clothing and knick knacks for pennies on the dollar. 10 out of 10 would shop again.

This store has mostly clothes, some kitsch, some shoes. No furniture that I could see. The clothes were all right but nothing spectacular; I went in looking for chairs and ended up buying a skirt. The employees were very friendly, and the restrooms were clean.

Very easy place to drop donation. There is temporary parking in front of the store. The staff is always very quick to bring out a cart to help load any donations. The store is organized very well and is neat despite all of the items it contains.
