Today I was in a major predicament. I am leaving tomorrow for a hiking trip in Colorado and found myself completely out of contacts. I called CVC and asked if I could order more, but also asked for a spare pair to get me through the week. Roman told me that not only would he get my order placed, but he would have a pair of contacts waiting for me that afternoon. Although the shop already stays open until a generous 7pm, I found myself cutting it close to that as work events and a delay on the L had me nervous I would be too late. I called Roman again and asked if he would do me a huge favor and stay open just a little bit longer to accommodate, knowing full well that he had likely already had a long day. He told me not to worry, that he would be there for as long as I needed. I finally arrived a little after 7pm, Roman was waiting patiently at the desk, had a tray ready for me showing that my contacts had been ordered, and a fresh pair of temporary lenses to last me through my week. This small act of kindness goes to show that this is no ordinary eyeglasses shop. Roman and the staff are not only highly respected professionals, but patient and caring employees who go above and beyond for their customers. I have now been to the shop roughly 6 times for checkups, pickups and general eyeglasses browsing (they have a great collection), and have never had anything but the best experience. Thanks again CVC, youve got a customer for life in this guy.

You can go to one of those short term chain eyewear companies and get glasses that may not fit properly or prescription lenses that are off and give you a headache or God knows what else can happen, or you can see Roman and his staff and get what you NEED. I have been going to Roman since 1999 and dont bother looking anywhere else, even if it saves me a few dollars; every aspect of his business is worth it. He is personable and passionate about what he does Service is five stars and complements the superior knowledge they posess to get you into the right frames. In addition, they carry not only the latest styles of frames, but the designer names that create them. Youll not only see great, but will absolutely look your best. If your glasses have an issue (rare), Roman will take care of it until you and your eyes are happy. Where else can you get this level of service?

Chicago Vision Club is the best place for your eye care. The optometrists are super professional and knowledgeable. I had the pleasure to have my eyes checked out by doctors, one time for a regular check up and the other time for a medical visit. Both doctors were very patient with my not-so-smart questions about my eye sight my eyes. I received excellent service and information about eye care and the health of my eyes. They have great collection of f designer frames and sunglasses: Armani, Gucci, Prada, Versace, and Dolce & Gabbana etc. And you can get good discount. The staffs are friendly and seem to welcome walk-ins. I would definitely go back there for all of my eye issues.

I dont know what has happened to this place since the reviews were written two years ago, but my visit was horrible. After being lectured by the optometrist why its more important to take care of my eyes than it is to eat on a daily basis, I told her she seemed to think I was an idiot and I didnt appreciate the condecending way in which I was spoken to. I also opted to get contacts and I wanted my pupillary distance so I could order glasses online, after which i was told they only provide that if you buy glasses from them. Rude, thoughtless and totally selfish. These people dont care about anything except making money.

Ive been trying to find a good optometrist for years. Finally stumbled into Chicago Vision Club while I was shopping and so glad I did. I did not make an appointment but they let me see the doctor anyway. He was extremely patient. Spent a long time explaining to me every detail and things I should watch out for. The frame selection is also very extensive, and I was very happy with the progressive glasses I ordered. Definitely recommend my family and friends to them.

I went to Chicago Vision Club for the first time last week, and it was great. The wait was short, the service was fast, and the doctor was very nice. I am always scared of eye doctors forcing me into new glasses or a prescription thats too strong, but this doctor got me exactly what I wanted. Im not sure about the pricing, since it was covered by insurance, but the overall experience was great.

The Staff here is excellent. I needed a special pair of sunglasses for a Christmas gift and after calling about 20 different places I finally found Chicago Vision Club on December 22nd. They didnt have the glasses in stock but made a special order for them. They came in on Christmas Eve! Great staff and a great company!

Ive been here several times and every time they are so helpful. Ive been in binds before and they are always extremely flexible and have GREAT customer service. I never write reviews about anywhere, but I couldnt pass up writing one about Chicago Vision Club! 5 Stars, they have gained themselves a forever customer.

Roman and his staff have been bending over backwards for me since he opened his business back in 1983...I could go elsewhere so easily but I am always drawn to come back where I know I am not going to be treated impersonally...my hat is off to you for surviving in the small business world for over 3 decades !!

The best looking frames are here. I’ve been shopping for sunglasses all over Chicago, but finally found great designer brand names at reasonable prices. I got two pairs for myself and one for my brother, who really liked it.
